Beyoncé has joined the list of celebrities prioritizing humanity over their personal assignments since the outbreak of the California wildfires.

The singer shared her decision to push back a big announcement in favor of donating prayers and a lump sum of relief funds to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

Beyoncé's grand gesture comes amid speculations of her protecting daughter, Blue Ivy's professional brand, after a rape scandal rocked her husband Jay Z's world.

The mother-of-three dropped an important update on her Instagram page concerning an announcement she had in the works. Due to the unfortunate fire outbreak, the singer shared that she was taking a new direction with things. The worded post partly read:

"JANUARY 14TH ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE DUE TO THE DEVASTATION CAUSED BY THE ONGOING WILDFIRES AROUND AREAS OF LOS ANGELES."

She expressed her gratitude to the hardworking rescue workers and first responders who have worked round the clock to save lives and cushion the effects of the wildfires on people.

"I CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HEALING AND REBUILDING FOR THE FAMILIES SUFFERING FROM TRAUMA AND LOSS," Beyoncé added in the statement.

The award-winning recording artist concluded her post by imploring people "TO JOIN OUR EFFORTS IN SUPPORTING THOSE IMPACTED, PLEASE VISIT @BEYGOOD. LOVE, B."

The Singer Donated $2.5 Million To Victims Of The Wildfires Via Her Charity Organization

Beyoncé accompanied her post with a detailed caption informing readers that she donated a significant sum of money to the cause of assisting those affected by the fire disasters.

"The BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund has donated $2.5 million to directly support families who lost their homes and community organizations at the forefront of relief. Please join us in supporting us with whatever you can. Link in bio," the caption read.

AP confirmed that the announcement initially arrived via the BeyGOOD Foundation Instagram account on Sunday.

The foundation declared that "The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires."

Beyoncé's BeyGOOD foundation was established in 2013 to promote economic equity by "supporting marginalized and under-resourced programs."

Last week, her mother revealed that her Malibu bungalow fell to the Los Angeles-area fires. She shared the news with a touching post on her Instagram page, which has remained active with updates about the fire and helplines for people.

The businesswoman recalled that she spent her birthday weekend on the property, which stood right over the water in Malibu, as she mourned the loss of her beautiful bungalow, now in ruins.

"It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred happy place.now it is gone," Tina wrote on Instagram. "God Bless all the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions."

She encouraged people to purchase air purifiers for their homes due to the bad air quality in California at the moment. Like her daughter, Tina also sent prayers everyone's way, adding: "We are resilient though and we will recover! "This too shall pass."
