Jhené Aiko Shuts Down 'Paris Hilton Money' Comments

Reginae's post comes after "Stay Ready" songstress Aiko shared a heartbreaking update about the wildfires, revealing that she and her children lost their home to the flames.

Aiko, who also had a sad experience with fire when she was seven years old, said she would have to start from scratch, though she was thankful that her family was safe.

Social media blog, The Shade Room, reposted Aiko's update on Instagram, and she received several messages of support and encouragement.

However, a few people felt Aiko was as rich as hotel heiress Paris Hilton and could easily buy another house.

Aiko caught wind of the comments and shared her thoughts, writing, "The fact that some of you think I have Paris Hilton money is wild," she began. "I don't got it like that, but I do have a big, loving family that is worth more than anything."

The mother of two recalled how her family rallied around each other when they lost their home in a fire in her 2nd grade and prayed to have as much grace as her mother did then.
