As of Thursday, January 9, over 100,000 Los Angeles residents were under evacuation orders, and officials reported that thousands of buildings had been destroyed. The death toll, which was previously reported as five, remains unknown due to the rapidly changing nature of the disaster.
Keleigh Teller is now speaking out about the loss of her and Miles Teller's home to the Pacific Palisades fire.

The actress shared a poignant photo on Instagram, taken through her car window as the couple evacuated. The image showed their white home still standing, with a silver SUV parked in the driveway. In the background, ominous clouds of smoke filled the sky.
Keleigh captioned the photo with an emotional message, “Snapped this driving out... To everyone reaching out, I can’t thank you enough. Your kind hearts have meant the world; I’ll never forget them. Community has come out stronger than I could imagine."
"Pacific Palisades, I love you beyond measure; you are a little slice of heaven," she added. "We will come back stronger than ever. If you’re in the LA area, PLEASE get out if you can."

Keleigh then revealed she lost her wedding dress in the fire. "I wish I grabbed my wedding dress... wish I did a lot different, but it doesn’t matter," she said. "Stay safe, get out. There are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”
A second photo in the post captured the heartbreaking aftermath. The Tellers’ home, once a luxurious retreat in the exclusive Pacific Palisades neighborhood, had been reduced to ashes. The silver SUV parked in the driveway was also destroyed, its charred remains a stark reminder of the fire’s ferocity.
Keleigh concluded her post with a side-by-side image of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood before and after the fire, illustrating the devastating transformation.
