Hugh Jackman And Sutton Foster Seemingly Confirm Romance After Months Of Affair Rumors

After months of speculations about their romance, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have seemingly confirmed that they are an item.

Although the duo did not make a public post about their relationship, they were spotted holding hands while heading for a dinner date in Santa Monica, California.

Before the outing, reports emerged that the duo planned to take their romance public soon. The reports also claimed that Hugh Jackman had promised Sutton Foster he would "focus on exploring their future together" this year.

According to the Daily Mail, Jackman and Foster have seemingly made their alleged romance public. They were seen cozying up to each other during a night out in Los Angeles.

The duo was captured not only holding hands but also grinning ear to ear as they walked down the sidewalk.

For the outing, Foster appeared donned a stylish long double-breasted cashmere overcoat over a lovely dark green maxi dress that flowed elegantly to her ankle.

She added to her height with a pair of black heels, carried a handbag, and accessorized with a pair of dangling earrings.

Meanwhile, Jackman opted for a casual look, which included a charcoal zip-up jacket, a slim gray sweater, tan chinos, and black sneakers.

The Marvel star styled his dark hair in a shaggy, backward fashion and sported a salt-and-pepper beard that contrasted coolly with his hair.

The outing comes after rumors emerged that Jackman and Foster had discussed no longer keeping their alleged relationship under wraps.

"They are talking about going public sometime in the next few weeks, which Hugh is both excited and nervous about," a source told the Daily Mail, adding that the Wolverine Star is "feeling really positive about what 2025 will be."

According to the insider, Jackman had also promised Foster that "he will focus on exploring their future together."

It already appears that the duo has begun this path, as Jackman reportedly recently met with Foster's adopted daughter, Emily, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Ted Griffin.

"Hugh has met Sutton's daughter Emily - she even calls him 'Uncle Hugh'!" an insider told the New Idea about the duo.

Jackman was also seen cheering Foster as part of the audience at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre where the Broadway star starred as one of the cast of "Once Upon A Mattress."

Before his alleged romance with Foster, Jackman married Australian actress Deborra-Lee Furness before splitting in September 2023.

While the former couple released a statement claiming their split was motivated by a desire to focus on individual growth, a source instead linked their separation to Jackman's alleged romance with Foster.

The insider told US Weekly that "Sutton and Hugh's relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced. "

They also suggested that the couple's Broadway colleagues were aware of the relationship but chose to ignore it.

"A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people," the source continued. "Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap. They are really happy now."

As for Furness, she reportedly only learned about Jackman and Foster's romantic involvement much later during their collaboration on "The Music Man."

According to the Daily Mail, when she eventually discovered it, she felt "blindsided," especially since she was the last to know.

"Deborra-lee was blindsided when she found out about the affair through the run of the show," said an insider. "It was apparently Broadway's worst-kept secret, and Deborra-lee was the last to know."

The source also claimed that when Furness finally confronted Jackman, "he didn't own up to it" and continued his affair with Foster.

Eventually, Furness was left "devastated" by the experience, per a friend of the actress.

"For a woman who's been in a marriage for 27 years who then discovers her partner was unfaithful and isn't trustworthy, it's a pretty devastating life experience," the close friend shared.

While Furness is angry that she was "the last to know" about Jackman and Foster's relationship, sources claim the "Logan" star kept her in the dark out of respect for her.

A source told OK! Magazine that Jackman and Foster have been keeping their romance private because the actor doesn't want to "humiliate" Furness.

"They've been hiding their relationship from the outside world for so long, sneaking around, living apart, but there will come a time when they'll want to come out as a couple," the source claimed. "Soon, they may start testing the waters."

The insider noted that "many in the theater world already knew their secret," but the "X-Men" actor "doesn't want the negative publicity," neither does he want to "humiliate" Furness.

"Hugh cares for Deb a great deal. She's the mother of his children," they added.
