Jennifer Aydin, one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," is under fire after posting a video where she appeared to age and job-shame employees at an airport Jersey Mike's Subs. Fans have since taken to social media to criticize the reality star for her remarks, calling her comments insensitive and disrespectful.
On Wednesday, the reality star shared a video rant featuring herself and a relative as they stopped for sandwiches at the popular chain before heading off on vacation.
In the now-viral clip, Jennifer Aydin expressed frustration with the service and wait time at the eatery.

The video quickly drew backlash online, with many fans accusing Aydin of ageism and disrespecting service workers.
“The 80-year-old that was working there, the amount of time she took to cut that bread was almost as much as we were waiting on that line. Geez,” she said in a video, which was reshared by a Bravo fan account on TikTok. “Everything was slow … we get it. It’s early in the morning, you’re in a bad mood, it’s New Year’s — you’re working. I’d be pissed, too.”
In her social media rant, Aydin described an escalating argument that began when she attempted to modify her order after already placing it.
The 'RHONJ' Star Claims She Got Into A Tiff With Another Customer
The Bravo star then told her followers that she attempted to add a tuna sub to her order for one of her sons after she had already placed her initial order. According to Aydin, the employees informed her that she would either need to go back to the end of the line or ask the customer behind her for permission to add the extra sandwich.
However, the man in line reportedly dismissed her request, calling it “ridiculous” and refusing to allow her to modify her order, as it would have extended his wait time.
Aydin claimed the man behind her in line, whom she described as a “freakin’ jerk,” became agitated during the exchange. She then began recording both the man and the Jersey Mike’s employees, further intensifying the situation.
According to Aydin, the man identified himself as a law professor and allegedly threatened to sue her over her "fake" jewelry if she posted the video online. In response, Aydin fired back, saying, “Fake diamonds, b-tch? What you don’t know — you better ask somebody. Please.”
She continued her tirade, adding, “I am a f–king celebrity, you a--hole!” while addressing another waiting customer.

The reality television star even tagged Jersey Mike’s in her posts, drawing more attention to the incident. Page Six reported that they have reached out to Jersey Mike’s corporate team for a statement, but no official response has been issued at this time.
While hot sandwiches at Jersey Mike’s are known to take longer to prepare than cold subs, it remains unclear what Aydin originally ordered for herself.
Later, Aydin shared the video she recorded during the altercation, showing both the employees and the man in question. In the clip, she can be heard defending her jewelry and insisting that it is, in fact, “real.” She also mentioned her husband, Bill Aydin, asserting that he is a “medical doctor” as part of her defense.

"I’m embarrassed for her children," another said. "Can you imagine having a mother like her running around town talking down to people like this."
