Simu Liu's 2024 is ending with a bang, but not just the type he would have wanted! The Marvel actor is now the latest victim of the infamous Los Angeles home break and entry as an intruder forced their way into his home.
Simu Liu bought the 4,700 square feet property for $6.8 million in 2021, boasting world-class technology and interior.
Simu Liu Was Not Home During The Break In
The invader reportedly smashed the actor's glass door around 11 p.m., which set off the security systems and caused the police to arrive at the scene. Upon their arrival, the cops could not find the culprit, and the filmmaker was also absent from the property when the incident occurred.
Official reports confirmed to TMZ that nothing valuable was stolen from the property, as the actor is currently remodeling.
Liu's tasteful property features five bedrooms and six bathrooms adorned with glass covering, offering a beautiful view into the two-car garage, dining area, and living room.
According to GQ, the listing described the property as "sexy architectural," a perfect ode to the delicate beauty of the grey and white color scheme. The house also has stunning landscaping outside the expansive outdoor space, which is generous enough to lend some interest.
It also comes with a sunbathing shelf, a spa, and an outdoor patio with a lawn that connects the home's exterior, which is unassuming and an eye-catching sight.
Other Notable Names Like Tyler Perry Was Also Burgled Recently
Liu can now relate to some of his colleague's conversations regarding home invasions and the effectiveness of security systems. Earlier in the month, The Blast reported that local authorities confirmed that four intruders wearing masks and gloves gained entry into his Angeles-area mansion.
Perry's 24-hour security team reportedly kept the group under close surveillance, in conjunction with the home's thermal imaging camera system, which identified the culprit.
The swift action of the high-tech equipment on the property helped the security guards to get the individuals off the property before they caused further damage. Sources close to the incident confirmed that one of the intruders left a bag in a ravine next to his home, which was later recovered.
Other celebrities who have suffered home invasions in 2024 include Tom Hanks, Marlon Wayans, and Patrick Mahomes.
Liu Went Instagram Official With Allison Hsu In 2022
The actor who began his Hollywood career starring in the sitcom "Kim's Convenience" debuted his new relationship on Instagram to the adoration of fans and friends.
The Blast reported that the pair appeared comfortable in their ugly Christmas sweaters as they posed for pictures on the red carpet of the 2022 action comedy Violent Night premiere.
The actor looked dashing in his sweater and white chinos. He flanked his girlfriend, who wore a skimpy gray skirt and knee-length boots.
Unlike her superstar beau, Hsu is more of a behind-the-scenes figure. She is a manager and handles social and digital work for Hollywood giants like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Holly Humberstone, and Finneas O'Connell, among other Interscope talent.
She enjoyed sharing images and clips from her trips worldwide on her Instagram feed. The collages on her timeline often feature her family members, close friends, and a handful of snaps of her having a good time at music festivals, including Lollapalooza.
The Canadian Actor Detailed His Mental Health Struggles Post Split From Jade Bender
Before popping up with Hsu on the red carpet, the 35-year-old was romantically involved with the "Senior Year" actress. They were last spotted on a night out at a movie premiere in August 2022.
The actor discussed their split during an interview in San Francisco, where he also touched on the topic of his mental health. Liu's account of the event came to be after the Salesforce executive V.P. Jody Kohner asked about the breakup and his mental state of health.
Kohner had apparentlybeen invested in the actor's efforts to take care of his mental health by starting professional therapy.
She began by asking, "How are you today?" prompting the actor to respond, "I'm OK, I'm OK. I'm learning to prioritize myself; I'm becoming more comfortable with the idea of therapy and support systems."
The stuntman then confirmed his separation from the actress, declaring that the breakup may be the reason why he opted for therapy and professional help.
The confession was met with a show of support, ease, and honest response from the audience, which included other Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Laverne Cox, and Jane Goodall.
