In the now-infamous Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Harry made quite a few accusations against his family. Many of which revolved around a lack of warmth from his father. This lead to him having a troubled childhood on top of the fact that his mother tragically died, of course.

There are a couple of disadvantages to growing up royal, particularly if you're going to decide to criticize your family in your later years. In Harry's new series "The Me You Can't See" the Prince speaks about some of the conversations that he'd had with his father over the years. He mentioned that Charles used to say to him, "Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you,’”

For him, this was evidence of what he called passing on the pain and suffering. Which Harry mentioned was in many ways the legacy that Prince Charles had passed on to him. Of course, Charles and Diana's marriage was not optimal, but does that mean the Prince of Wales was mean to his kids?
