Rapper Bobby Shmurda’s splash back into the music scene had a bit of a hiccup after his first official appearance was canceled during NBA’s All-Star weekend.
The ‘Hot Boy’ rapper was scheduled to perform and appear alongside 50 Cent, on Friday night, at one of the most popular nightclubs in Atlanta. But, at the last second, a message was shared on social media saying that due to ‘unforeseen’ events the massive bash was shut down.
Unfortunately, according to reports, Bobby was slated to cash a $125,000 check for this one appearance alone!

“We regret to inform you but due to an unforeseen circumstance with Compound Atlanta, and their issue with The City of Atlanta — The Bobby Shmurda X 50 Cent event tonight has been canceled. Please request refunds if you paid for tickets or tables. Thank you very much,” the message read.
The worst part, fans were pumped to be apart of what was being dubbed as Bobby’s ‘Welcome Home Party’ with a performance by him and 50 Cent. As we said, the rapper was reportedly supposed to be paid over $100K for this appearance alone. It’s unclear if he got any of the cash.

The good news, Bobby was spotted in Atlanta on Friday night turning up in the nightclub with fellow rapper Rowdy Rebel. The famous duo was photographed catching a major vibe to Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk’s ‘Back In Blood.’
Shmurda was welcomed to the city by fellow rapper, Gucci Mane, who shared a photo of the two shaking hands outside of another venue. “Real N—-s Back in Style!! Welcome, Home @realbobbyshmurdags9,” he wrote.
According to one report, Bobby won’t walk away empty-handed, after he was also booked for a private event that will also pay him handsomely.
The NBA All-Star weekend is going to be PACKED with celebrities and fans who made the trip to party and take in the game.
Luckily, hotspots in town are shelling out huge sums of cash for famous musicians to appear at their venue. Bobby’s pal Rowdy Rebel, who was also released from prison earlier this year, will cash in $59,000 for his appearance at Halo Lounge. Plus, Lil’ Durk is hosting a gig at Opera Nightclub, where he is raking in $100,000.
