All charges have been dropped against Sean "Diddy" Combs' drug mule, Brendan Paul. The drug dealer was arrested in March at the Opa-Locka airport in Miami after being found with cocaine and marijuana in his possession.
Paul was with Diddy at the time of his arrest, which coincided with federal agents simultaneously raiding Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami. The raids were part of an investigation into the sexual assault allegations made against the music mogul.
Diddy was arrested on Sept. 17 and charged with "racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution," according to the DOJ. He is currently in jail awaiting trial.
Brendan Paul's Case Is Formally Dismissed
According to Paul's lawyer, Brian Bieber, the case against him was dropped on Tuesday, PEOPLE reports, and all drug charges against him were formally dismissed. Paul accepted a plea deal in May and completed a diversion program as a condition of the plea.
"Mr. Paul's case was formally dismissed today - in its entirety," said Bieber. “Mr. Paul completed the pretrial program.”
The 25-year-old former Syracuse University basketball player was named in a civil lawsuit by Diddy's former videographer, Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, last February. Jones revealed that Paul was a drug mule for the recording artist. Jones also accused Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting him while he was unconscious.
Diddy Arrested In New York
Diddy was arrested in New York City on September 17 and charged with "racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution."
“As alleged in the Indictment, for years, Sean Combs used the business empire he controlled to sexually abuse and exploit women, as well as to commit other acts of violence and obstruction of justice," said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams.
"Today, he is charged with racketeering and sex trafficking offenses. If you have been a victim of Combs’ alleged abuse – or if you know anything about his alleged crimes – we urge you to come forward. This investigation is far from over.”
The 55-year-old Bad Boy Entertainment founder was denied bail and is currently awaiting trial.
Music Mogul Accused Of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl With Jay-Z
As The Blast previously reported, Diddy is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with "Big Pimpin'" rapper Jay-Z at an after-party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in New York. Tony Buzbee, the accuser's lawyer, filed a civil lawsuit against Diddy in October before later adding Jay-Z to the complaint.
Jay-Z denied the claim and filed a countersuit against Buzbee accusing him of filing a "patently false" claim. The recording artist also noted that the accuser, who had admitted she'd made mistakes in her story, didn't have her facts straight.
The now 38-year-old claimed to have a conversation at the party with a celebrity who was not in attendance. She also claimed her father picked her up at a gas station following the assault, but her father did not confirm her account.
"Basic facts in her narrative — the who, what, when, and where — are wrong," said the filing. "These stunning revelations make clear that the complaint filed by the plaintiff's attorney, Anthony Buzbee, had no factual basis whatsoever."
Jay-Z Says He Won't Give Accuser 'One Red Penny'

Jay-Z released a statement on his Roc Nation Instagram account, accusing Buzbee and the accuser of trying to blackmail him.
"My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee," he wrote. "What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”
Jay-Z also called the charges "heinous" and challenged Buzbee to file a criminal complaint rather than a civil one.
Diddy Is Accused Of Trafficking Women For Freak-Offs
Diddy is accused of trafficking women to attend orgies called "freak-offs" at his infamous parties. His former girlfriend and recording artist, Cassie, revealed the freak-offs in a lawsuit she filed against Combs in 2023.
Cassie said in the lawsuit that Combs forced her to take drugs and perform in the orgies.
She also accused him of assault months before a video went viral of Diddy beating her and dragging her down a hotel hallway. Diddy later apologized for the video and admitted that he was "f-cked up."
