Foxx recently turned 57 and, on Friday night, hosted guests and his family to an intimate dinner at Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills.

However, the celebration soon turned into a heated exchange as crew members from the "Jackass" production company directed a "laser p-nis pointer" at Foxx's table, which projected a male genital-shaped image.

At first, Foxx and his loved ones were confused by the laughter coming from the VIP section until they noticed the offensive image projected on their table.

The "Django Unchained" actor became "upset" about the incident and went upstairs to address it.

"In front of my daughters?" Foxx exclaimed, according to sources who spoke to TMZ.

Reports say his effort was met with a rebuttal as the crew's stuntman Jasper Dolphin allegedly threw a heavy drinking glass at him, striking him in the face.

The insider also shared that the crew, who were at a private VIP party upstairs, earlier sent a drink to Foxx as a friendly gesture, but the actor didn't consume it as he's currently abstaining from alcohol.

The "Day Shift" actor was left needing stitches as the bottle that was allegedly thrown at him broke on impact, cutting him near his mouth.

Witnesses said Foxx, visibly bleeding, responded, "It's my birthday. What is wrong with you?" before leaving the restaurant to seek medical attention.

Meanwhile, another source connected to the "Jackass" crew told the news outlet that Foxx had backup with him when he went to address the situation, and things quickly got physical and tense between the parties involved.

After the actor left to seek medical attention, the crew allegedly continued to aggressively confront his guests, eventually leading Mr. Chow's staff to call the police.

Foxx wasn't there when cops arrived, but he has reportedly spoken to them about the incident.

Law enforcement is yet to corroborate the story of the involvement of "Jackass" crew members as the investigation continues. So far, no arrest has been made.

Attorney Bryan Freedman, who is representing Dickhouse Productions, said, "Although the crew has the greatest respect for Jamie, the version of events that has been presented is totally inaccurate and deeply unfair to those attending their holiday celebration that night."

Not wanting to make a big deal of the incident, Foxx later took to his Instagram account to reassure fans that he was okay and shared a positive message.

In his comedy special, Foxx was moved to tears as he recounted his mysterious health scare to fans, disclosing that he suffered a "brain bleed that led to a stroke" and was unconscious for 20 days.

"I was fighting for my life," he explained. "April 11, I was having a bad headache, and I asked my boy for an aspirin… before I could get the aspirin… I went out. I don't remember 20 days."

The Oscar-winning actor shared that he was on the brink of death and went into a coma for several weeks.

He had met a doctor who gave him a cortisone shot, but that didn't help remedy the case, causing his sister, Deidra Dixon, to continue seeking medical attention for him.

He eventually saw a doctor at Piedmont Hospital who told him he was "having a brain bleed that's led to a stroke."

"If I don't go in his head right now, we're going to lose him," the doctor said at the time.

After his surgery, Foxx shared that the doctor told his sister, "You were right. Your prayers are answered. We didn't find where it was coming from, but he is having a stroke. He may be able to make a full recovery, but it's going to be the worst year of his life."

Foxx continued, "I was so dizzy from the stroke… 20 days, I don't remember. On May 4, I woke up. When I woke up, I found myself in a wheelchair. I couldn't walk."
