Rosie O'Donnell's daughter, Chelsea O'Donnell, makes it home just in time for the holidays following release from the holding facility.

The comedian's daughter was released from jail after her third arrest in two months and is now set to enter her mandatory 28-day treatment following a legal agreement to allow her to leave custody temporarily.

Chelsea O'Donnell's third arrest came after she was found guilty of drug possession a few weeks after her second arrest for the same offense. She was also initially arrested for child endangerment when the cops discovered hard drugs in the room with her infant child.

Court documents confirmed that the prosecutors drafted a deal to allow a temporary release for Chelsea to commence and complete her residential treatment program for her drug abuse-related problems. Her lawyer stated that the program would last for 28 days.

In the agreement with prosecutors, the 27-year-old will return to the Marinette County Jail after completing the mandatory program, and her prior bond will be reinstated.

The former bond was set to $7,500 at a hearing on December 4. The deal noted that Chelsea would vacate jail premises on December 9, as the judge had signed off on.

Chelsea's biological mother, Deanna Micoley, would also fetch her from the facility and provide shelter for her till she "physically arrives at residential AODA treatment."

Following her December 9 release, In Touch reported that Chelsea then shared a much-awaited photograph last Thursday, December 12, with her loved ones in Wisconsin. The slides included a picture of her with Deanna.

"My sister and I at my brother's Christmas concert," Chelsea wrote in the accompanying caption on the photograph.

Chelsea O'Donnell Was Denied A Furlough To Begin 'AODA Treatment'

Chelsea almost did not make it home, as the judge initially denied her plea for a furlough earlier in the month.

As reported by The Blast, Chelsea requested a furlough from the $7,500 cash bail set by a judge in Wisconsin after she was picked up for the third time in 60 days. The ex-convict's attorney claimed that she needed the exemption to fulfill her treatment.

"Counsel has spoken with Ms. O'Donnell about the specific details of the treatment obtained for Ms. O'Donnell and would like to direct the court regarding the specific details of the treatment out of respect for the personal information involved," her lawyer shared.

However, her petition was denied by the Wisconsin judge the following day. Chelsea had been held in custody since her third arrest on November 18. She was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor, resisting an officer, and other charges.

Chelsea's Triple Phase Arrest Involved Possession Of Harmful Substances

The comedian's adopted daughter's struggles with addiction is certainly not an exaggeration,  as her last encounter with the police during a drive led to the discovery of a smoking device with meth residue in it- a fact Chelsea vehemently denied.

She even disclosed her plan to commence an intensive outpatient program the following week to the cops at the point of her arrest. Chelsea expressed her desire to quit drugs for good.

Despite her enviable resolve, a bottle of meth and various pills were discovered on her during a strip search at the custody after the arrest.

Her second arrest also took a similar direction. She was stopped and searched at a red light on October 11, where law officers discovered meth and pills on her, leading to her getting locked behind bars and getting an early November release.

Chelsea's first run-in with the cops happened in September when she called the police to her home following a heated argument with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund. Upon arrival, one officer noted that:

"The inside of the house was disgusting; throughout the house, I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke."

They also found her 11-month-old son, Atlas, living in the toxic space with "a meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it."

Rosie's Reaction After Daughter's Furlough Was Denied

The comedian has remained transparent about her stance and emotions during Chelsea's tumultuous two months. Following news of her daughter's denial, Rosie shared a throwback of her posing with Chelsea and her younger child, Dakota.

The trio looked happy as they smiled for the camera, seated side by side, a moment the mother seemed to miss. "Before it began #changes," she captioned the post.  The producer took the same route during Chelsea's first arrest for child neglect and drug possession.

Rosie uploaded an old picture of her daughter with a baby and captioned it, "Chelsea is in the news today – this is a photo from a better time – here is the family's comment."

She noted that it was not news to her family as they have witnessed Chelsea struggle "with drug addiction for a decade." Rosie concluded, "We are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease."

The comedian was also first in line to confirm that her adopted daughter was yet again in the middle of another arrest for drug possession. The Blast noted that Rosie released a statement seemingly reacting to a set of inquiries as indicated in the picture frame accompanying her caption.

"Good Morning Cindi, Just wanted to check in and see if Rosie O'Donnell had any additional comment now that Chelsea O'Donnell had been arrested again," the inquirer began.

They asked if the mother and daughter have had any recent conversations since Chelsea's arrests. "Can you share any information about the status of their relationship? Any information you can provide at this time would be appreciated," the message read.

The producer then replied to the questions, writing, "So yes, this is true - after being bailed out by her birth mother - Chelsea was arrested again - and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction."

Rosie expressed hope that Chelsea is "able to get the help she needs to turn her life around - #drug-addiction #tragic #sadness #truth" in her concluding sentence.

Will Chelsea O'Donnell stay out of trouble as he moves to complete her 28-day residential treatment program?
