Morgan Wallen has some straightening up after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors!

The 31-year-old is now set to spend some days at a DUI education center as part of his sentencing following his arrest back in April.

Morgan Wallen was taken into custody after cops saw him throw a chair from a rooftop bar to the street in a reckless display.

The singer has been sentenced to serve seven days in the DUI education center instead of being locked behind jail bars.

The DUI center offers a program that provides "state of the art alternative sentencing for Tennessee DUI, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment offenders," according to their official website.

As soon as he finishes, he will begin serving a two-year probationary period as punishment for his misbehavior. According to TMZ, the singer was also ordered to pay a $350 fine and court fees. 

Following the judgment, Wallen's attorney assured the court that his client had issued all the requisite apologies. He added that the musician "remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation."

The Singer Was Booked For 3 Counts Of Felony During His April Arrest

Wallen's exuberance landed him in hot water earlier in the year when the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested him for acting outrageously.

Luckily, his chair-throwing stunt from Chief's bar to the street below did not hit anyone, but he was not released with a slap on the wrist either.

The station revealed Wallen was booked early Monday, April 8, on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. His attorney, Worrick Robinson, released a statement at the time:

"At 10:53 pm Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities."

This is not the first time the country music artist has been in trouble with law enforcement officers. In 2020, he was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Wallen Took Responsibility For His Antics On Social Media

Shortly after the arrest, The Blast shared that the artist took to his social media handle on X to apologize to his fans and affected parties.

"I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks," he wrote at the time. "I've touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief's. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility," he began.

Wallen established that he maintains utmost respect for the "officers working every day to keep us all safe." The star reiterated to the public that the incident would not affect his tour nor make him change dates.

Following his arrest, Wallen took some time off to reflect. A few months later, in June, he returned to check in on his fans and loved ones. "What's going on everybody?" he said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories, adding:

"I've been in the studio for the past couple of days, and I was just thinking I haven't been on here to let y'all know or to give y'all an update in a long time."

Wallen shared that he spent quality time with his kid, recording songs, trying his hands at golfing, and taking dips in the pool. "But mostly just laying low and staying out of trouble," added the Billboard Music Award-nominated artist.

Since his arrest, the singer had rounded up his tour and headlined big events, including Stagecoach. However, It is unclear if Wallen has had anything to drink since the chair-throwing incident or if he has gone to any type of rehab.

Perhaps Wallen and Nashville are a toxic combo.Barely a year after his 2020 arrest, he found himself in the bad books again! This time, he was caught yelling a racial slur in Nashville.

"Take care of this "p-ssy-a-- m-therf-cker," Wallen yelled, adding, "Take care of this p-ssy-a-- n-gg-r." His statement fueled a nationwide outburst on social media, eventually prompting him to issue a public apology.

"I'm embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better," the singer declared

Hopefully, the seven days in DUI school will turn Morgan Wallen's acts around for the better!
