Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, has sparked a frenzy of speculation after being spotted liking a news report post on Instagram about her son-in-law Jay-Z raping a minor with Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The Roc Nation rapper, real name Shawn Corey Carter, was accused of the act by the alleged victim in a refiled lawsuit that had previously only labeled him as "Celebrity A."

Jay-Z has since denied the allegations, claiming that the alleged victim and her lawyer are trying to extort him for money.

Amid the viral news of Jay-Z being accused of gang-raping a 13-year-old with Diddy, his mother-in-law, Tina Knowles, has sparked a flurry of conversation about the rapper's possible guilt after she was spotted liking a post that reported the news.

According to the Daily Mail, the post was made on Instagram by ABC7 Chicago with the caption: "Breaking News: Jay-Z, Diddy named in a lawsuit alleging rape of a 13-year-old girl.

Shortly after it was posted, social media users weighed in on what Knowles' action might mean, with

One wrote, "This makes a lot of sense now because Beyoncé has been acting very 'single lady-ish' in her post … Bey and her family know [what's] about to happen to him."

Another wrote, "This is proof he's guilty, and they all knew it, if anything," while someone else commented, "Everybody active but nobody denying the accusations."

Some users also remarked that Knowles' action is being overblown and doesn't mean she agrees with the accusations.

One wrote, "She always likes news concerning her family. I've seen it before. It doesn't matter if it's negative or positive."

A second individual commented, "She was probably reading it [and] accidentally liked it. You know she's done this before she is old."

Jay-Z has since denied the rape accusations from the victim, calling them a "blackmail attempt" by her and her attorney, Tony Buzbee.

"My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle," the Roc Nation founder wrote in the statement posted on the company's official page.

He continued, "No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!"

The Grammy Award winner further defended himself, stating that if Buzbee truly believed the allegations were true, he should have filed a criminal complaint instead of a civil one.

"These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!" the Grammy Award winner said. "Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case."

The rapper went on to say that he is "more than prepared to deal with" attorney Buzbee, seemingly suggesting that he is ready to prove his innocence in court.

In his post, Jay-Z also revealed that he was "heartbroken" about the impact of the lawsuit on his family and how he and Beyoncé would have to explain the situation to their kids, especially their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Following the statement from Jay-Z, Buzbee fired back a response, where he denied the claims the rapper had made about being blackmailed.

He told TMZ that the demand letter he sent to Jay-Z did not include any discussions about money.

"What [Jay-Z] fails to say in his recent statement is my firm sent his lawyer a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim, and that victim never demanded a penny from him," the Texas-based attorney told the news outlet.

He also said that the demand letter was only sent to seek a "confidential mediation" between Jay-Z and his client.

Elsewhere in his response, Buzbee told the outlet that Jay-Z had "previously denied being the one who sued me and my firm."

Buzbee also shared that the Roc Nation founder had tried to hide that he was the one who filed the "frivolous case" by using a "pseudonym" in the suit.

The suit that Buzbee appeared to be referencing was filed against him by a person who named themselves as a "high-profile" individual, per TMZ.

In the filing, the individual, now presumed to be Jay-Z, claimed that Buzbee had threatened to unleash "entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault -- including multiple incidents of rape of a minor, both male and female -- against Plaintiff if he refuses to comply with their demands."

It also mentioned that Buzebee was "shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him" and put a "ticking clock" on the extortion demands.
