Gymnast McKayla Maroney Celebrates The Bible In Braless Minidress

McKayla Maroney is eyeing up the holidays and celebrating her faith in a new Instagram share. The Olympic gymnast updated her feed this week with a "Happy Holidays" post, showing off her trendy fashion sense while stunning in a tight dress. Looking pretty in pink as she wore a nearly red minidress and fuzzy open duster, McKayla flaunted her enviable figure in night-time snaps, ones accompanied by a caption largely formed of her "Bible birthday verse." McKayla received tons of fan love in the comments, including a heart-eye emoji from fellow gymnast Olivia Dunne.

Displaying her enviable silhouette, the California-born star rocked criss-cross chest straps affording a cut-out effect, showing off her toned legs while coordinating her fuzzy duster with her dress.

Adding a ruched hanging waist detail that drew the eye to her hips, McKayla completed her look with her dark hair worn down, plus a glowy face of makeup complete with dewy foundation and highlighter.

Rocking a bold red lip adding even more pop, McKayla flaunted her full pout before sharing car selfies and a Corinthians quote.

In a caption, the London 2012 Olympics face wrote: "His grace is sufficient Happy Holidays everyone. Hope you’re doing well. I can’t believe it’s December!!!! 12:9 is my birthday, so this Bible verse is technically my birthday verse lol."

Noting that Paul had "begged" God three times to remove the thorn, only to have his request denied, she continued: "I’ve definitely been there. I’ve prayed many times for things in my life to be healed or removed just for God to say, trust me. God a lot of times will leave this ”thorn” to keep us in a consistent state of needing Him. This weaker state can be painful, but God is always using it for a bigger purpose." Outlining God's plan, one she believes to be exclusively good, McKayla Maroney then confirmed that this is why she prays for God to deliver his "hope and strength" to her.

Noting that 2024 is wrapping up, McKayla extended wishes for the holidays and the year ahead, also inviting her 1.3 million followers to share their "birthday verse."

The caption was much simpler than this June 2022 Instagram photo as McKayla Maroney posed from a lawn while showing off her gorgeous looks. Stunning in a strappy, low-cut dress in pink, she gazed deep into the camera, saying: "Me heart silk dresses." Fans left the former GEICO ambassador with over 70,000 likes.

McKayla retired from professional gymnastics in 2016 but remains a prominent social media face. She also maintains a close bond with former teammates including gymnasts Simone Biles and Aly Raisman.
