Ellen DeGeneres has addressed the rumors that massive floods hit her new UK home.
Reports suggested that the alleged flooding occurred weeks after the comedian relocated to the UK from the United States with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
However, Ellen DeGeneres clarified that their property "did not flood" in a post marking her 20th dating anniversary.

The former "Ellen DeGeneres Show" host took to her Instagram account on Sunday to post a picture of her and her wife, Portia de Rossi, standing in what appeared to be their countryside estate as she shared a sweet tribute celebrating the 20th anniversary of when they started dating.
"20 years ago today we began this relationship not realizing what a long beautiful adventure this would be," she captioned the photo. "You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. … So happy we get to travel and explore the world together in the next 20 years, and looking forward to our first snowy Christmas."
DeGeneres added, "P.S. For those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood."
Her update comes after the Daily Mail reported on Saturday that DeGeneres's Cotswolds home was overwhelmed by flooding in the advent of Storm Bert, which caused the River Thames to burst open its banks, coupled with 80 MPH winds that ravaged the area.
The married couple are no strangers to dealing with natural disasters, as their home in Montecito, California, was once hit by a flood.
Fans Congratulate Ellen DeGeneres And Portia de Rossi On Their Long Relationship
Several users took to the comment section of her post to congratulate DeGeneres and de Rossi on their anniversary.
A fan wrote, "Love Ellen. Pure love. And people can't stand others being happy. Cheers to another 20!"
Another fan said, "Block the haters, Ellen. I'm very happy you get to spend your remaining years traveling with your love. You've worked hard to get where you are and you're deserving of the life you have."
"Wish you two all the joy, love, and magic for the next 20 years!!" One fan penned. "You both deserve to do whatever brings you happiness. You've brought so much joy to so many people's lives. Time for you and your beautiful wife to enjoy the rest of your lives."
However, some individuals responded negatively to her update about their property not flooding.
One user said, "Absolutely no one is concerned nor cares," while another wrote, "No one cares lmao. Please don't ever come back."
The Former Talk Show Host And Her Wife Reportedly Moved Because Of Trump's Election Win
Reports emerged last month that the comedian and her wife ditched their California mansion and relocated across the pond in response to Trump's victory over Kamala Harris, who DeGeneres publicly supported.
However, a source told the Daily Mail that their relocation to the UK wasn't just a response to the elections but also her resolve to retire from her TV career following the controversies that plagued her.
"Make no mistake about it. This is Ellen and Portia's retirement," the source said. "Neither one of them has any projects lined up."
"Ellen really felt she had made her mark on the industry, but that was diminished when she was canceled over her alleged treatment of her staff," they added. "Then to have celebrities call her out one by one was so hurtful."
Donald Trump's Ally Accuses The Couple Of 'Infesting The Cotswolds'
Meanwhile, DeGeneres and de Rossi's move has left many MAGA supporters throwing jabs at them, with some sharing online that they should "never come back" to the US.
Donald Trump's ally, Steve Bannon, followed in that step when he accused the couple of "infesting the Cotswolds" after they fled following the elections and also slammed them for "whining like little children."
"F-ck them. They're not resilient… They had every advantage of state power," the former White House strategist said, per The Sunday Times. "They had the high ground. And guess what, we broke them and now they're whining like little children."
Ellen DeGeneres' Career Took A Hit Over Claims Of A Toxic Work Environment
The longtime TV host was accused of fostering a racist and toxic work environment on her self-titled show, as well as allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior by ousted producers.
Her show was eventually taken off air on May 26, 2022, following the disturbing allegations, which led her to remove herself from the public eye.
In her Netflix special, "For Your Approval," she joked about how she was "kicked out of show business" and admitted to going into therapy for a "while" to deal with all the "hatred" she faced in the aftermath of the allegations.
"I was in therapy for a while trying to deal with all the hatred that was coming at me," she said, per the Daily Mail. "It was not a common situation for a therapist to deal with."
"At one point, my therapist said, 'Ellen, where do you get this idea that everyone hates you?'" she quipped. "And I said, 'Well, New York Times, The Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Us Weekly, I think Elmo may have said something recently on an episode of Sesame Street.'"
"She said, 'Well, I think you just need to avoid looking at the news, just avoid media.' I said, 'I am. I'm not looking at anything,'" DeGeneres added. "But I would always know when something was going on because I'd start getting texts from friends saying thinking of you or sending love."
