Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing yet another civil lawsuit, adding to the growing number of legal challenges he has faced since late last year.

The new suit was filed by fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, in which she accused the rapper of sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment over an incident where he allegedly threatened to kill her and dangled her over a balcony.

A rep for Sean "Diddy" Combs denied the claims, adding that the rapper is sure it will "ultimately be proven baseless."

This week, fashion designer Bongolan joined the list of individuals who have filed a civil lawsuit in recent months.

Details of her suit obtained by Rolling Stone revealed that the fashion designer accused Diddy of sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment.

The claims appear to have stemmed from an altercation with the rapper, which ended with him dangling her over a 17th-floor balcony while screaming threats at her.

In the suit, Bongolan's attorney, James R. Nikraftar, also strongly criticized Diddy and asked him to take responsibility for his actions.

"The only purpose of dangling someone over a balcony is to actually kill them or to intentionally terrorize them and rob them of any concept of dominion over their own bodily autonomy and safety," read a part of the filing.

It continued, "Ms. Bongolan refuses to allow this fear to control the rest of her life and brings this action to demand that Mr. Combs takes responsibility for the trauma he intentionally and maliciously" inflicted.

Elsewhere in her filing, Bongolan explained that she was introduced to Diddy by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, whom she worked with at the popular Los Angeles store Diamond Supply Co. around 2014.

She claimed that her closeness to Ventura made her witness numerous instances of the rapper abusing his ex-girlfriend.

According to Bongolan, these incidents continued for a while before eventually culminating in the altercation she had with Diddy on the day he dangled her over Ventura's balcony.

In response to Bongolan's claims, a rep for Diddy told the outlet that the rapper is unbothered by it and believes it will be proven baseless.

"Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have," the rep told Rolling Stone.

They added, "Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims. Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless."

A few days ago, Diddy suffered another setback in his attempts to get bail before his trial in May 2025.

The rapper, via his attorneys, had proposed "an extremely substantial, comprehensive bail package" that included several conditions alongside a $50 million bond to secure his freedom.

However, the presiding judge, Arun Subramanian, ruled in favor of the prosecutors, which marked the third time the rapper had been denied bail.

"The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community," read the ruling, per USA Today.

Subramanian also mentioned in his ruling that federal prosecutors had presented "compelling evidence of Combs's propensity for violence," including the viral 2016 video of the embattled rapper assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra "Cassie Ventura.

Earlier in the month, five victims of Diddy filed civil suits against the rapper via Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee.

The court docs revealed three of the victims were allegedly raped by the music mogul between 2001 and 2004, while the timeline for a fourth victim remains undisclosed, per Page Six.

One victim claimed that Diddy had attempted to penetrate him anally at an afterparty at a residence in Miami after drugging him.

A second victim, a woman, alleged that she was still a minor at the time she was drugged and raped by the rapper during one of his Fourth of July all-white parties.

Two other males also claimed that they were drugged and rapped by the Revolt co-founder.

One mentioned that it occurred while working with Diddy for a video role and that the rapper's bodyguard was also part of the assault. Meanwhile, the other mentioned that the rapper sodomized him at a party at his NYC home.
