Jason Kelce encountered a tense moment earlier this week as he was leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
On Thursday, November 21, a group of fans gathered behind a fence, hoping for autographs, but when Kelce declined to interact with the crowd, frustration grew, and one particularly persistent fan, determined to get a signature, began shouting insults as Kelce got into his car.
The individual soon regretted his actions and apologized to Jason Kelce.

The man yelled several expletives at the "New Heights" host and tried to guilt him into approaching the group. He also told the now-retired NFL star that he “ain’t nobody special” and accused him of “being a d-ck” for refusing their request, according to footage obtained by TMZ Sports. Kelce, who appeared to be backed by security, responded to the insults, saying he’s “not trying to be a d-ck.” The man shot back, “I don’t care — it’s not the autograph, it’s the attitude.”
Kelce explained further, telling the crowd he doesn’t sign autographs for people who “follow” his travel locations. The man replied, “We’re not following you. We get every guest that comes here,” while another person in the group added, “This is public information!”
The man continued to berate and curse at Kelce, claiming he’s “nothing” and comparing him to other "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" guests who had signed autographs for the group. “Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford have the time, but you don’t?” the man said to Kelce. “F-ck you.”

Kelce ultimately reconsidered and stepped out of the car to sign autographs for the group, as shown in the video. “I’m not trying to be rude,” Kelce told the crowd. “I’m not trying to be mean.”
Although Kelce was interrupted, one fan spoke up in his defense, saying, “Jason, you’re nice, I swear!”
The man who had been shouting at Kelce moments earlier suddenly shifted to an apologetic and complimentary tone, seemingly embarrassed by his behavior. “Do not put that on the f-cking internet,” he said, admitting he was “ashamed of that moment.”
He went on to apologize, telling Kelce, “I have love for you,” to which the former athlete responded warmly. “I have love for you, okay,” Kelce replied. “And I’m sorry. I didn’t mean anything about it, I promise.”
The interaction ended on a positive note, with Kelce shaking hands with the man and even signing an autograph for him.
