Dave Grohl's wife, Jordyn Blum, is reportedly "healing" after the rockstar shocked his fans by admitting that he fathered a child outside their marriage.
According to a new report, Blum and Grohl want to move forward, and the actress doesn't want to make any "hasty decisions" regarding her husband's infidelity.
After revealing that he cheated on his wife and fathered a child out of wedlock, Dave Grohl stated that he would be working on winning back the trust of his family.
Jordyn Blum Is 'Still Unhappy' But Has 'Had Time To Process Everything'
A source recently told People Magazine that two months after Grohl's affair revelation, Blum has "had time to process everything" and is now healing from the shocking news.
"She doesn't want to make any hasty decisions since it's all affecting their girls," the source said of the actress's kids, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, who she shares with Grohl. "She's still unhappy and not wearing her wedding ring, but things have calmed down. She's leaning on friends."
Grohl made it clear in his statement about his infidelity that he intended to move forward with his family and earn back their trust.
An insider also confirmed to the news outlet that the Foo Fighters frontman is no longer working with a divorce attorney and is "instead hoping to work things out with his wife."
Dave Grohl Knows He 'Messed Up'
After Grohl's love child confession, Blum stopped wearing her wedding ring during her outings.
The rockstar has also not been seen with his amid the couple's marital troubles. However, a source told People that Grohl "loves his family" and is doing everything he can to ensure they stay together despite his actions.
"Dave's been prioritizing his family," the source noted. "He knows he messed up. It's one of those situations where you don't realize what you have until you're about to lose it. He doesn't want to lose his family."
Jordyn Blum's Friends Allegedly Want Her To Ditch The Rocker
For of Blum's closest girlfriends reportedly staged an intervention to help her gain clarity after her husband's cheating scandal made headlines.
An insider told the Daily Mail they were "seriously worried" about the 48-year-old and couldn't bear to see her grapple alone with the emotional hurt from Grohl's philandering.
However, while providing emotional support, her friends allegedly stressed that Grohl could not be trusted again and that Blum should start a new chapter of her life away from him.
"Her besties have begged her to move forward with the split," the source said, "Not to go back with him at any cost. There were lots of tears during the session."
The insider added, "One of her friends, who's been a close confidante for many years, even told Jordyn she'll lose total respect for her if she takes Dave back and she'll walk away from their decades long friendship."
Dave Grohl Plans To Be A 'Supportive Parent' To His Love Child
In September, the musician took to his Instagram page to confess that he had a child with an unidentified woman while also pledging to step up to his role as a father to the new baby.
He wrote, "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her."
In his post, the musician mentioned that he is focused on "doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."
Grohl also asked his followers to take his family into "consideration" as they "move forward together."
Shortly after sharing the news, his daughters, Violet and Harper, deactivated their social media accounts, seemingly due to the news of their father's infidelity.
Foo Fighters Is Going On A 'Hiatus' Amid Dave Grohl's Marital Issues
While Grohl sorts out his family issues, his band, The Foo Fighters, is reportedly going on a "hiatus."
An insider told The Sun that they need "time to be with their families and focus on regrouping."
"It's been a turbulent few years, with the loss of their best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins, the death of Dave's mum, and now the birth of his new child," the insider said. "He wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family."
They added, "Being on the road isn't the best thing for any of them at the moment. It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively."
