Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter's Lawyer Demanded For Evidence Submission
The attorney, Bradley Hansen, made his first appearance in the case on November 1 and demanded the prosecutors turn over evidence they plan on using in the trial.
Hansen also asked the government to provide a list of witnesses they plan on having in the dock, any laboratory reports and other documents they have in their possession. According to In Touch, Chelsea's lawyer's request read:
"All evidence and/or other information which would tend to negate the guilt of the defendant, including laboratory reports, hospital records or reports, police reports, or any other information within the state's possession, knowledge, or control."

The arrest report noted that officers found a blue box on a nightstand in the baby's room that had needles inside at Chelsea's home.
The officer in charge confirmed in his statement that "some of the needles were used and had dried blood in them. I know that drug users commonly use needles like this to shoot meth into their arms or 'bang out.'"
The report noted that he found a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles under the baby's crib.
"In a clothes pile, I found a straw that had been cut off and burnt," the officer declared, and added, "It appeared Jacob and Chelsea were more concerned with their drug addiction than providing [the baby] with a safe and clean environment."
The report concluded there was a meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it inside the bedroom belonging to Chelsea, where [the child] was initially found.

The comedian's daughter reportedly called The Marinette County Sheriff's office on September 10, during which the dispatch overheard people arguing and a female telling someone to "get the hell away from her."
The Blast gathered that police found Chelsea in a drunken state with dilated pupils. When asked about the situation over the phone, Chelsea reportedly explained that she got into a verbal disagreement with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, who was inside the home with her son.
Chelsea was pressed for more answers, but the officer noted that she was not forthcoming, a repeat of an encounter that happened a few weeks prior at her home.

The mom-of-four was then taken in by the cops and charged with four felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of THC. She was eventually set free on bond.
However, a couple of weeks after her release, on October 11, Chelsea was pulled over by cops while driving with a friend. The police reported that Chelsea tried to throw a meth pipe into a river during questioning. But her plan was foiled as the pipe hit a fence and bounced back.
Meth and pills, including oxycodone, morphine Sulfate pills, and hydrocodone, were discovered in her possession during medical clearance before admitting her into custody.
Chelsea was arrested and charged with three felonies of possession of meth, bail jumping, possession of narcotics, and other misdemeanor charges.
