Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal jail might be getting some improvement soon. Recent reports have described the detention center in Brooklyn, New York, as "hell-like" while highlighting several problems with the facility.

It appears those complaints were heard, as the facility was recently subjected to an "interagency operation" as part of "intensive efforts to improve conditions."

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been held at the center since September when he was indicted and arrested on racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

On Monday, investigators from several federal agencies visited the Metropolitan Detention Center where Diddy is being detained ahead of his trial on sex crimes charges.

The "interagency operation" involved the FBOP, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General, and other law enforcement authorities.

A rep who spoke with TMZ shared that the operation was done "to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn."

They also mentioned that it was part of "intensive efforts to improve conditions" at the facility, although it remains unclear which areas piqued their interest.

While complaints about the MDC aren't new, Diddy's detainment at the facility has led to further scrutiny.

The rapper's lawyers had previously mentioned that the MDC had faced rampant violence from inmates and multiple deaths, which could potentially jeopardize his safety.

They were also outspoken about the living conditions, pointing out that the "roughest part" of the Bad Boy Records founder's incarceration had been the food.

Luckily for Diddy, he is being held in a special housing unit at the facility, which has helped guarantee him safety from other inmates who might be looking to settle a score or assault him for clout.

The rapper was brought to the MDC last month after he was arrested on sex crime charges following a grand jury indictment.

In addition to Diddy's sex crime charges, he has been hit with a barrage of sexual assault accusations.

The accusations have only increased in recent weeks, with more alleged victims represented by attorney Tony Buzbee.

Altogether, over 100 accusers have banded together to bring legal action against Diddy, and some have already filed.

In response, Diddy's lawyers recently requested that a judge issue a desist order to prevent potential witnesses and their attorneys from making statements that could prejudice Diddy's criminal trial.

"As the Court is aware, Mr. Combs has been the target of an unending stream of allegations by prospective witnesses and their counsel in the press," they said in their motion, per AP News.

They added, "These prospective witnesses and their lawyers have made numerous inflammatory extrajudicial statements aimed at assassinating Mr. Combs's character in the press."

Diddy's attorneys also recently requested a gag order to prevent federal prosecutors from leaking information to the media.

In a filing, they claimed that federal prosecutors gave CNN the video of Diddy assaulting his ex, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, to "mortally wound" his reputation and prevent him from "successfully defending himself against" his sex crimes charges.|

"Rather than using the videotape as trial evidence, alongside other evidence that gives it context and meaning, the agents misused it in the most prejudicial and damaging way possible," the court documents read, per Page Six.

During a hearing to address the matter, the judge refused to adopt the order. However, they emphasized that all parties must adhere to existing laws prohibiting information leaking to the press.

Federal prosecutors have also denied leaking the video, claiming they never had it in their possession before it went viral.

Federal agents have since denied that they played a part in making the footage available to CNN.

In a letter to the judge, they claimed that "The Government was not in possession of the video before its publication by CNN."

"There is thus no colorable factual basis for the defendant's claim that the Government leaked the video to CNN, let alone that it was leaked 'in violation of grand jury secrecy,'" the letter continued.
