Lifetime Drops 'College Admissions Scandal' Trailer Inspired By Felicity Huffman & Lori Loughlin

Lifetime has released the first trailer of their highly-anticipated movie that was inspired by real-life events surrounding actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin.

In the first look of "The College Admissions Scandal," viewers get an inside look at the college bribery blunder that rocked Hollywood.

The "Desperate Housewives" and "Fuller House" actresses are at the center of the scandal and have been charged with fraud and money laundering.

Lifetime moved quickly to produce this movie.

As The Blast reported, they announced they were adapting the infamous story of Loughlin and Huffman's college admissions scandal into a 2-hour movie in July, but the two actresses were not considered for casting.

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have been accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to college admissions consultant William "Rick" Singer to get their daughters — one of whom is YouTube star Olivia Jade — admitted to USC as sham recruits for the crew team.

Huffman reportedly paid $15,000 to a fake charity that helped her daughter get a higher SAT score.

The "Desperate Housewives" star plead guilty to the charges and now may have to face serious consequences.

As we reported, prosecutors are recommending Huffman spend one month in prison, along with a year of supervised release, and pay a fine of $20,000.

Eva Longoria, who starred alongside Huffman on the show, wrote a letter on her former co-star's behalf.

As far as Loughlin, her co-star John Stamos seems to be in her corner. She and her husband are expected in court this month.

Lifetime's "College Admissions Scandal" is set to air on October 10.
