“Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary has returned to social media after a brief absence following his involvement in a fatal boating accident that left two dead late last month.
O’Leary tweeted on Thursday, promoting the new season of the Colombian spin-off of “Shark Tank.”
“Hola Colombia!” the tweet began. “I’m Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank US. I’ve been told Colombians are pretty hard negotiators, I guess we’ll find out soon. Hope you are ready for the new Sharks: Alejandra, Andrea, & Samy! Don’t miss @sharktankcol new season starting Sept 6th on @sonychannella.”

Authorities are still investigating the boat crash that occurred on Lake Joseph near Toronto on August 24th and left two dead.
Gary Poltash, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision and Suzana Brito, 48, died just days after the accident.

Followers of O’Leary on Twitter expressed their harsh opinions in the comments after what some are calling a “tone deaf” promotion of the franchise that made him famous.
“Life goes on for "Mr. Wonderful”?” One fan commented, “Kevin O’Leary money roadshow is rolling on. After Being in a Fatal Boat Accident Killing Two.”
But several comments were a little more coarse and condemned the Shark.
“Has your drunk wife been thrown in jail for killing 2 people yet?” One comment read.
“You’re a sick man. You killed two people and have almost no remorse,” another follower said.

The tweet comes shortly after the son of the Gary Poltash, the Florida man that was killed, started a Go Fund Me account for the children of the second victim.
Suzana Brito was the mother of three from Uxbridge, Ont. and left behind her husband David, two sons and a daughter, who are between the ages of 9 and 12.
The Go Fund Me page has raised over $7,000 at the time this article was publshed.
No charges have been filed yet against O’Leary or his wife. After the accident, O’Leary released a statement that he was the passenger and was not the driver of the boat.
