Christina Haack Hits Friendly Milestone With Second Ex-Husband Amid Her Messy Third Divorce

Christina Haack's rollercoaster personal life has taken another unexpected turn.

The HGTV star and her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, in a surprising move, are reconnecting publicly after years of silence.

Ant Anstead recently re-followed Christina Haack on Instagram and even tagged her in his stories. This comes at a turbulent time for Haack, as she is still in the middle of a messy divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall. 

The moment was when Anstead shared a heartwarming photo of their 5-year-old son, Hudson, following a successful soccer practice on Saturday, October 19. 

The former couple, who share Hudson and were married from 2018 to 2021, have had their ups and downs since their split. 

In the snapshot, the youngster can be seen beaming alongside his teammates and coach after what Anstead proudly called a great performance by the "Golden Chameleons."

Per PEOPLE, the post did not just celebrate Hudson's big day—it also highlighted a surprising shift in Anstead and Haack's relationship. 

The British TV personality tagged Haack in the Instagram Story, and in a rare move, she responded by re-sharing the image on her own Instagram Stories. 

This recent interaction hints at the possibility that Haack and Anstead are finding common ground, particularly in co-parenting their son. 

In fact, it is not the first sign of their renewed friendliness. Since Haack's split from her third husband in July, she and Anstead have shared several amicable exchanges.

In one of the latest examples, the mother-of-three liked an Instagram post shared by Anstead on October 17. The post featured a series of heartwarming photos of Hudson enjoying a day in Laguna Beach, California. 

One standout photo captures Hudson smiling brightly as he hugs his dad, a moment that the 45-year-old captioned, "Just Laguna Beach doing Laguna Beach things…..x."

While the former couple's recent friendly exchanges may seem like a breath of fresh air, their relationship has not always been so smooth. 

In 2022, Haack and Anstead made headlines for their intense custody battle over their son, which left many wondering if they would ever find common ground.

After their 2021 divorce, the TV hosts initially agreed to share joint custody of their son, a plan that seemed to work well for both parents. 

However, tensions rose when Anstead shocked many by filing for full custody, accusing Haack of being an unfit parent. This move ignited a bitter legal dispute, with both sides refusing to back down.

But in a surprising turn of events, the pair managed to reach a resolution before the case went to trial, per The Blast. 

According to documents from the Superior Court of California, Judge Lee Gabriel signed off on a new agreement in November 2022, allowing Haack and Anstead to continue sharing joint legal and physical custody of Hudson.

This arrangement was a return to the original terms they had set when their divorce was finalized in 2021, effectively putting an end to their court battle.

The former lovebirds may have moved past their custody battle, but their co-parenting agreement reveals how carefully they mapped out holiday time with Hudson. 

In the court documents, the former couple agreed on a detailed schedule to ensure they both get equal time with their 5-year-old during key holidays.

For Thanksgiving, Hudson will be with his mother during even-numbered years, while Anstead gets him on odd-numbered years, from the Wednesday before Thanksgiving until the following Monday.

Christmas follows a similar pattern, with Hudson spending the holiday with Anstead from December 23 to 25 on odd-numbered years, along with a week of vacation during his school break—provided Haack receives written notice by December 1.

The pattern extends to other holidays as well. Easter belongs to Anstead in even years and Haack in odd years, while the 4th of July flips the schedule. Halloween is also split, with Hudson spending the holiday with his father in even years and Haack in odd years.

As Haack rebuilds her relationship with Anstead, her divorce from Hall is taking a messy turn. The "Flip or Flop" star accused Hall of demanding an exorbitant $65,000 a month in spousal support despite their short two-year marriage.

The Blast noted that the 41-year-old claimed in court documents that Hall has no need forsupport, pointing out that he "just paid off a $70,000" Bentley lease. However, Hall quickly fired back on social media, calling the allegations "riddled with lies and assumptions."

In an October 16 Instagram Story, Hall denied ever asking for such a sum, accusing Haack's attorney of making false claims in court filings. He also criticized the lawyer, stating, "Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical."

His legal team echoed his frustrations, dismissing Haack's spousal support claims as entirely fabricated. 

As their friendly interactions grow, it is clear that Christina Haack and Ant Anstead are prioritizing their son's happiness, despite the drama surrounding their past and Haack's ongoing divorce from Josh Hall.
