Cardi B is not holding back in her response to the prank caller who reported her children to Child Protective Services, making it clear that the real danger lies with the caller.
In an intense Instagram Live session from her hospital bed on Monday, where she has been for several days, the rapper vented her frustrations and threatened the caller, who allegedly told CPS that her three children, whom she shares with her estranged husband Offset, were being abused and beaten.
According to Cardi B, Child Protective Services arrived at her gated mansion around 11 PM.
Cardi B Fires Back At Prank Caller Who Reported Her Kids To CPS
From her hospital bed, Cardi B went on a full-blown rant, telling the prank caller that when she finds out who it was, she’s ready to "beat the sh-t" out of them.
The rapper insists that her children are enjoying life and that she has never harmed them in any way. “We don’t play that sh-t. My kids live great,” she continued. “My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit, no matter how annoying they are. I never hit my kids.”
She condemned the prank call as a serious overstep, adding that they are the only family of color in their neighborhood. “We’re the only colored people in my neighborhood completely and for motherf-ckers to pop up in my house with cops and child protective services because you motherf-ckers wanna do an anonymous call involving my children?"
"Motherf-ckers have taken sh-t too f-cking far when you mess with my f-cking kids," she added on her Instagram Live, emphasizing that a late-night visit from CPS is far more than just an inconvenience.
Cardi B Says She Is Going To Hire A Private Investigator To Find Out Who Made The Call
Cardi shares her three children with ex-husband Offset, with whom she filed for divorce in August after six years of marriage. The estranged couple welcomed their third child, a daughter, in September. They also have a six-year-old daughter, Kulture, and a three-year-old son, Wave, born in 2018 and 2021, respectively.
“For the Child Protective Services to come to my f-cking house?” she continued. “Not my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there’s an anonymous call that there been going on that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you f-cking dumb?”
Cardi said she would hire a private investigator and sue the person who did this. "I promise you this, I’m gonna sue CPS for f-cking coming to my house at whatever the f-ck time it is," she continued. "[I will] sue the person that did this anonymous call.”
But she didn't stop there. "Y'all are going to die ... I'm going to beat the sh-t out of you," she said in her live video. "If you're a man, my baby father is gonna beat the sh-t out of you because you thought it was okay to mess with our f-cking kids, stop f-cking playing!"
Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset
Cardi B and Offset, who tied the knot in September 2017, have faced their fair share of challenges over the years.
Their relationship hit a rocky point in late December 2018 when Offset's infidelity was revealed, leading to a brief separation. Despite reuniting in early 2019, the couple has now called it quits, with Cardi filing for divorce and seeking primary custody of their children, showing no signs of reconsidering her decision.
“It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart, and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable,” a source told Page Six.
Cardi B Says She Wants A ‘Healthy Co-Parenting Relationship’ With Offset
Cardi B and Offset's relationship troubles took a dramatic turn and played out on social media while she was in France for Paris Fashion Week in late September. For those unaware, the rapper accused Cardi of cheating on him while she was pregnant.
“I feel like two weeks ago, there was a lot of beef. I feel like things are calming down right now. I don’t want to have beef with anybody that I love,” she said, per Billboard. “All the divorce things that happen, I want peace and I want friendship. I just want, like, a healthy co-parenting relationship, and co-parenting means no f–king, no flirting … I want peace. I want to be like my mom and my dad, they don’t f–k with each other, they just there for me and my sister.”
Cardi B Provides Update Following Giving Birth
The "WAP" rapper participated in an X Spaces session on October 16, where she shared updates with fans about her life as she embraces motherhood for the third time.
“Life has been really weird,” she said. “I’m single and I’ve been having fun, but I feel like me being single and me having fun, I have to stop it because I don’t want it to get in the way of my work … I’m paranoid to give people my time, I’m just playing around right now. [laughs] I just want peace.”
Cardi B gave birth in September.
