Aubrey Plaza fell under fire for her latest red carpet look, showing off her killer figure in an unusual sheer dress with bow accents. Joining the list of stars attending last night's Academy Museum Gala in L.A., the Parks and Recreation star dazzled in a show-stopping Miu Miu gown, flaunting her assets tastefully as she went both braless and sheer. Rocking a sleeveless, gauze bodice with a second-skin effect, Aubrey left little to the imagination as she just about kept safe, but reviews of her look were mixed as fans on Just Jared reacted.

Injecting girly vibes from two pink satin bows at the waist, Aubrey turned heads, completing her look with stiletto heels and her hair tied back.

All smiles as she wore a full face of makeup complete with cheek blush and a rosy-red lip, Aubrey looked ten years younger than her 40 years, but fans commenting seemed more interested in her style choice. "It's giving Vegas plus mother-of-the-bride, the manic smile is not helping," one fan said. "She can do better," another bluntly wrote.

Also thinking that the dress was a poor choice was the fan saying: "Those oversized bows look silly." Last night's Academy Museum Gala was also attended by SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian, singer Ariana Grande, supermodel Kendall Jenner, and actress Demi Moore.

Fans were more supportive of this look as Aubrey Plaza wowed in a strapless YSL dress with a chest cut-out. Going for the peephole trend as she placed her hands on her waist, the brunette flashed her calves in her midi number, making sure to promote her Emily The Criminal movie.

Rocking retro, button-accent briefs and a bralette, the actress wore a matching cropped jacket, shouting out her glittery look as she wrote: "Thank you @cosmopolitan and @jessica_pels for putting me on your cover this summer! Yay for giant melting cones and snazzy jackets!!"
