The legal troubles within Rapper T.I.'s family continue, with his son, King Harris, getting arrested months after his run-in with the police.
The Hip-Hop star's son recently found himself on the wrong side of the law after nearly colliding with a patrol car. The incident reportedly occurred in Dunwoody, Georgia, on Monday, October 14.
T.I.'s son was taken into custody after the officer's search revealed marijuana and a gun. King Harris' troubles come two months after his father suffered a mistaken identity arrest in August.
Rapper T.I.'s Son Reportedly Cooperated With Cop During His Arrest
According to the arresting officer's incident report, King almost hit his police cruiser while pulling out of a gas station. The near-collision prompted the cop to pull him over and investigate the cause.
The officer alleged he smelled marijuana coming from the BMW King was driving and also detected a gun on his hip. He asked T.I.'s son to place his hands on the steering wheel while checking his information.
The search revealed King had a warrant from Pickens County for failure to appear in court. On that note, the officer took the rapper's son into custody, highlighting in his incident report that he was cooperative.
The cop explained that he asked King to step out of his vehicle, and he removed the firearm on his hip without issues. He also gave T.I.'s son a pat-down after slapping cuffs on him, then placed him in the backseat of the car, per TMZ.

According to the report, King had been driving with two people in the car. Upon searching the vehicle, the arresting officer allegedly discovered small baggies of marijuana. However, only T.I.'s son was arrested.
One of the passengers was reportedly cited for marijuana possession, while King was taken to the DeKalb County Jail. He was booked and had his mug shot taken — a picture that saw him looking worn-out with his signature Playboy Bunny tattoo on his neck.
As stated, King's arrest comes two months after his father suffered a mistaken identity arrest. The Blast shared that T.I. broke his silence about the incident days after his release on August 8.
The 'Dead And Gone' Rapper Was Not Bothered By His Bogus Arrest
Although T.I. was detained for the wrong reasons, he claimed the incident was water under the bridge. When they spotted him in Beverly Hills, he shared his thoughts about his arrest with the paparazzi.
The rapper stressed that he was not upset about the misunderstanding, noting that cops had only been doing their jobs. T.I. added that he was "too blessed to be stressed," citing a better control over his emotions.
The "Live Your Life" hitmaker believed embracing the present was better than focusing on the past. His calm response to the incident was commendable, as cops had ruined his Sunday plans with their bogus arrest on August 4.

The entertainer, born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., was arrested at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on a warrant for a man with a similar name. Authorities were searching for a culprit named "Clifford Harris" and mistook T.I. for him.
The wanted man had a warrant for his arrest in Baltimore, Maryland, over an abuse complaint filed on June 13. The suspect was accused of violent behavior against a woman, with his crimes including stalking and gun allegations.
T.I. was able to clear his name as the wanted man reportedly weighed 205 pounds while he weighed 165 pounds. This crucial detail came to light after the rapper's attorney, Steve Sadow, moved to secure his immediate release.
Rapper T.I. And His Wife Tiny Were Named In A Sexual Assault Lawsuit
The mistaken identity drama came a month after T.I. and his wife Tiny were slammed in a sexual assault lawsuit. The alleged victim filed her claims under the pseudonym Jane Doe.
The woman alleged that T.I. and Tiny convinced her to join them at their Los Angeles hotel in 2005. The trio met at a club and offered her a drink before switching locations.
However, the accuser noted she suspected she had been drugged when she started feeling lightheaded while showering with the couple. She eventually threw up, confirming her suspicions about the drink given to her.
The woman accused the pair of drugging the drink they gave her “for the purpose of sexually assaulting and battering her.” However, T.I. and Tiny have vehemently denied her claims and moved to dismiss the lawsuit.
