Crystal Kung Minkoff, her husband, Rob Minkoff, and her brother, Jeffrey Kung, could not mediate a 2023 car crash lawsuit.

The reality star and her family will be showing up in court next year after settlement talks failed between the victim of the car crash and her brother, who drove the car.

The plaintiff sued Crystal Kung Minkoff, her husband, Rob Minkoff, and her brother, Jeffrey Kung, for reportedly disfiguring her in the car accident.

The "RHOBH" will reportedly appear in court for a jury trial on May 25, 2025, in the lawsuit filed by the victim identified as Candice Shahandeh-Rad. Candice sued the trio last March, claiming in her lawsuit that they were all involved in a collision on November 13, 2022.

She explained that she was rear-ended in a surprise hit by Jefferey, who drove a car belonging to Crystal and Rob. The plaintiff stated that Jefferey claimed he was distracted when he came out of the car after the accident happened.

Per In Touch, Candice demanded unspecified damages for her alleged "past and future physical pain, mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, disfigurement, physical pain, inconvenience, grief, anxiety, humiliation, and emotional distress."

The Trio Denied Candice's Allegations In The Lawsuit

Crystal, Rob and Jefferey's attorney, denied Candice's claims in her filing. The attorney echoed his client's stance and declared:

"Defendants allege that if [Candice] suffered or sustained loss, damage or injury as alleged in the complaint, such loss, damage or injury was proximately caused and contributed to by [Candice] in failing to conduct herself in a manner ordinarily expected of a reasonably prudent person in the conduct of their affairs and person. [Candice's] recovery herein is diminished to the extent that [Candice's] damages are attributable to [Candice's] negligence."

They then charged the court to dismiss all her claims and award her nothing. Despite the failure of the initial mediation, the court has advised the trio to take another shot at brokering peace before their May 2025 court date arrives.
