Cardi B Responds To Chloe Bailey's 'Be Careful' Cover

Cardi B continues to be one of the most dominant and respected artists in the industry since 2018. She is currently riding the success of a No. 1 single in "Up" and could be putting out her sophomore album soon. In the meantime though, she continues to interact with fans as well as other artists on social media. One who she showed respect for is Chloe Bailey, who decided to do a cover for Cardi's 2018 hit single, "Be Careful."

Cardi Calls Chloe's Cover Of 'Be Careful' Beautiful

Chloe has been making covers of various artists' songs such as Silk Sonic and Yung Bleu. She's received praise for these and now, Cardi took to Twitter to reveal how impressed she was with Chloe's cover for "Be Careful."

"This is soo beautiful got me smiling from ear to ear and blushing maa hard," said Cardi. "You see this how I thought I sounded on the track."

Chloe excitingly responded by praising Cardi for her original efforts on Be Careful. Chloe tweeted "You BODIED this, thank you for this song."

Chloe X Halle Have Been A Dominant Duo

Chloe has been winning big over the last few years with her sister, Halle, as they are known as Chloe X Halle. They are signed to Beyoncé's record label and last year, put out their sophomore album. This was their "Ungodly Hour" project which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by singles such as "Ungodly Hour" and "Do It." Do It ended up receiving a remix with Doja Cat, City Girls, and Mulatto.

Cardi Has A Lot Of Momentum With 'Up' Single

Cardi B has capitalized off of her success of last fall, where she dominated with her "WAP" single featuring Megan Thee Stallion. That single went 5x platinum and three months ago, Cardi put out her "Up" single, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A month later, it eventually reached the top spot on the Hot 100 and also soon became certified platinum in the US. Up currently stands at No. 9 on the Hot 100.

Cardi Fans Hope Sophomore Album Arrives This Summer

Cardi hasn't put out an album since her 2018 debut project, "Invasion Of Privacy," which is now 3x platinum in the US. She's been teasing a release of the second album for a while now but explained that some more songs and music videos have to be completed. As of now, there is still no finalized release date for the album or an official title for it. When the release does happen though, it is expected that it will be Cardi's second consecutive No. 1 album.
