Selena Gomez Highlights Staggering Weight Loss In Tight Braless Dress

Selena Gomez has mostly made 2024 headlines for embracing her curves as she continues to battle her autoimmune Lupus condition, but things are changing. In her latest red carpet appearance, the 32-year-old shocked the world by displaying her much slimmer figure, one quickly sparking Ozempic rumors as fans reacted. Slipping her curves into a jaw-dropping black dress this week, Selena showed off her weight loss while attending a screening of her Emilia Pérez movie in NYC, but fan talk was more about her appearance than the movie.

Stunning in a chic black column dress, Selena rocked a plunging neckline and thin straps, letting her elegant gown hug her every curve. Looking more slender than she has in recent months, the "Love On" hitmaker flaunted her teeny waist and toned arms, flashing her cleavage tastefully as she channeled her signature understated class.

Going braless and clingy, Selena added matching opera gloves for a wowing finish as she posed for arrivals ops and flashed a big smile. The Texas-born star also wore her dark hair tied back into a bun, completing her glam with a glowing face of makeup complete with winged eyeliner and a matte lip stain. Meanwhile, diamond stud earrings added swanky flourishes as Selena knocked the cameras dead.

When The Daily Mail covered Selena's look, it noted her "shrinking" frame.

"Selena looks amazing! She's naturally slim, but the meds she must take for kidneys, etc can cause her weight to fluctuate a lot." That said, others wondered if the pop star was on the Ozempic drug now sweeping Hollywood. "I can't imagine someone with a single kidney and a transplanted one at that, is taking Ozempic or similar drug. And she has Lupus too. Yikes," one user replied. "Hope she's not taking Ozempic," another wrote.

Seemingly convinced that Selena is already on Ozempic, a further user gained likes for writing: "She should not take the shot to lose weight. She has other medical issues to deal with."

While stars including Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, and Sharon Osbourne have all admitted to Ozempic use, the unconfirmed suspect list is much longer, including the likes of Christina Aguilera, Erika Jayne, Lana Del Ray, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.
