Angelina Jolie put up a united front with her eldest kids at the premiere of her comeback movie, "Maria," during the New York Film Festival.
The actress smiled while posing for photos next to sons Maddox and Pax and daughter Zahara, who seemingly cut ties with their father, Brad Pitt.
The outing comes amid claims that Brad Pitt hopes to have kids with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, amid his strained relationship with his children with Angelina Jolie.
Angelina Jolie And Her Adult Kids Grace The 'Maria' Red Carpet During New York Film Festival
Jolie, who stars in the Opera film, "Maria," recently shared the red carpet at the NYF festival with her three eldest children, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara.
The siblings smiled as they posed beside Jolie, who looked effortlessly stunning in a simple white gown accessorized with black heels and silver earrings.
Zahara, for her part, looked beautiful in a silver silk floor-length gown that mirrored her mother's style. Pax and Maddox, on the other hand, looked dapper in grey and black suits, respectively.
The three kids and their other siblings, Shiloh, Viviene, and Knox, have made multiple red-carpet appearances alongside Jolie.
The bond the actress shares with her children is undeniable, with some of them even sharing a special tattoo with the actress.
During her interview with CR Fashion Book, Jolie stated: "There is also a Bird that I share with some of my children that is personal to us." In June, she debuted the bird tattoo at the Tony Awards in New York City.
Brad Pitt's Relationship With His Six Children Became Strained Amid Legal Battle With Angelina Jolie
Pitt is reportedly ready to embrace fatherhood again, inspired by his friend George Clooney, who became a father to twins at 56.
"All the time he's been spending with George has allayed any fears he might have about being an 'old' dad," an insider told In Touch Weekly.
The actor is currently dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon and is reportedly looking to have kids with her. Pitt already has six children with his ex-wife, Jolie; however, their relationship has been strained since the former couple's divorce and lengthy legal battle.
His daughter Shiloh took legal steps to drop "Pitt" from her surname after turning 18 in May, a change finalized by a judge in August.
Additionally, Vivienne used only "Vivienne Jolie" when credited in the Playbill for Broadway's "The Outsiders," and Zahara referred to herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" during a sorority event in 2023.
The source added: "There's no denying that his relationship with his kids is totally fractured, and his heart is broken over it. He's not expecting a new baby to fix everything, but it will certainly bring him new joy and he desperately needs that right now."
The Actor Has 'No Contact' With His Adult Kids
In July, People Magazine reported that Pitt's bond with his older children remains fractured, and he has had "virtually no contact" with the adult kids.
The children in question, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, are 18 years of age and above, which means they are no longer subject to any custody arrangement.
It also means the children have reached a level of independence where legal enforcement of parental control or visitation wouldn't be necessary.
Amid Pitt's continued strained relationship with his older kids, he still has "visitation" with the younger children, twins Vivienne and Knox, although Jolie has the "kids most of the time."
However, his "engagement" with them has been "more limited in recent months" due to filming commitments.
Brad Pitt And His Partner Ines de Ramon Reportedly Hope To Start A Family
A source told In Touch that Pitt and de Ramon are serious about their future together, with marriage on the horizon, but their top priority is starting a family. The insider claims Pitt's "full focus outside of work is having a child with de Ramon.
"The sooner, the better," the source notes, adding that the couple's recent European getaway gave them plenty of quality time together. "They're keeping their fingers and toes crossed that they'll have good news to share very soon."
The insider added that if conceiving through the natural process isn't possible, the 60-year-old actor "has said IVF is an option."
They added: "Brad has no qualms about becoming a dad again so late in life. For one thing, his health is in great shape and he's got just as much energy as he's ever had. He really does feel decades younger than his age."
Angelina Jolie Drops Two-Year Legal Battle Over FBI Documents Related To Brad Pitt Abuse Allegations
Meanwhile, Jolie has officially ended her two-year legal battle against the Department of Justice and the FBI concerning documents related to abuse allegations involving Pitt.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly on September 25, 2024, Jolie, who filed the case under the alias "Jane Doe," has chosen to drop the lawsuit.
The case was aimed at acquiring FBI documents regarding a 2016 incident on a private jet that led to her divorce filing. Both parties agreed to dismiss the case, with each covering their own legal fees.
The latest court filing stated, "The parties to this action hereby stipulate to dismiss this action with prejudice, with each party to bear its own fees and costs."
The initial case, also filed under the alias "Jane Doe," was submitted in March 2022. It disclosed that a Freedom of Information Act request had been made in 2021 in an attempt to access documents related to the FBI's investigation into Pitt.
