Jeremy Dufrene's Ex-Fiancée Breaks Silence On Lana Del Rey's Wedding

Singer Lana Del Rey heard wedding bells earlier this week!

Not only did the "Doin' Time" singer obtain a marriage license to marry her boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene, but the pair also surprised the internet with the news they had immediately tied the knot!

The couple has only been husband and wife for a few days, but there might be a snag in the couple's wedding bliss.

The groom's former fiancée has surfaced online, and she is not happy with her ex's happy news. According to ex-fiancée Kelli Welsh, the couple had been together for over a decade, and have only been broken up since October of last year.

Dufrene's former fiancée had much to say about her relationship with Dufrene, who is an alligator tour guide.

According to TMZ, Welsh spoke to The Daily Mail to express her surprise at her ex's sudden nuptials to a famous pop singer. The "Margaret" singer kept her famous identity secret from Dufrene for a bit, after the pair began dating.

Welsh brought up the timeline of her relationship with Del Rey's new groom: she revealed the duo had been engaged for 12 years!

Although she and Dufrene were together for over a decade, Welsh seems to be at peace with the ending of their long-term relationship, even though she was initially "shocked" by his sudden union with the "Young and Beautiful" singer.

After some reflection, Welsh told The Daily Mail she feels "happy" for her ex.

"I am happy for him," Welsh said, adding, "He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone. He was used to bayou life and being out on the swamp. He is deserving of this blessing."

The "Ride" singer had an extremely busy week this week!

She and Dufrene were spotted obtaining a marriage license on Monday. The couple had 30 days from that day to file, according to People magazine.

However, Del Rey and Dufrene shocked fans by quickly tying the knot!

The pair quietly tied the knot on Thursday, September 26th, surrounded by friends and family, including Del Rey's siblings. Del Rey's mother was not in attendance, asThe Blastpreviously reported.

The "A&W" singer was photographed walking down the aisle with her father, Robert Grant.

The duo said their vows at the Louisana Bayou where Dufrene works as an employee. Several tents were decorated for the big event.

The couple's reception reportedly featured a dinner.

The duo met in 2019, and Del Rey soon began featuring her man in social media photos.

The couple spent time together following a trip Del Rey took to Louisana where an insider revealed, "She wanted to go on a boat tour because it's a big thing in Louisiana, but she never expected to fall for a gator boat captain."

While Del Rey's friends were initially skeptical of their relationship, they soon found out Dufrene was a great match for their pal, as previously reported by The Blast.

"Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn't need or want Lana's money," the insider stated. "They can see he treats her right and he is very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic."

Sparks began to fly between the now-married couple shortly after meeting, and Dufrene was said to be the one to break the ice.
