Katy Perry In Braless Butterfly Top Disappoints With 'Desperate' Photo

Katy Perry left fans disappointed in her latest Instagram share. Promoting her 143 album, which drops today, the 39-year-old posted photos and videos of herself in a fun butterfly top, flaunting her figure and holding vinyl copies of her new EP. Drawing the eye to her incredible silhouette in the wake of her recent weight loss, Katy highlighted her tiny waist in low-rise jeans, going backless and braless in her butterfly-shaped top while displaying her taut abs. As fans appear to tire of her scantily-clad displays, though, Katy was a prime victim for trolling, and it looks like The Daily Mail's comments was full of them.

Scroll for the video. Posing by a plain wall, Katy sizzled in a plunging crop top shaped into a butterfly bustier. Rocking metallic red, blue, and green for a molded effect, the "Woman's World" hitmaker flashed her washboard abs in boyfriend-cut jeans, drawing the eye from her taut tummy to her braless cleavage.

Showing off her tiny shoulders, Katy wore her dark hair down, sporting matte makeup and a pinkish lip. The mom of one even appeared to have gone commando as chain-accent cut-outs at her waist showed no visible underwear.

Meanwhile, a separate post showed Katy in video mode as she turned around to reveal her halter top's chain back. Whipping her hair around glamorously as she eventually faced the camera, the American Idoljudge struck sexy poses, placing one hand on her hip as she drove fans to check out her body. "143 is out now," a caption read.

Fans didn't seem too impressed. Over 300 users upvoted a reply reading: "Trying way too hard...and still failing." Here, a fan gained over 100 likes for replying: "She just looks desperate and sad now." Echoing the thought, and gaining over 200 likes for their reply, a further user said: "Desperation isn't a great look."

Unfortunately for Katy Perry, those comments just kept on coming. "Starting to get desperate, worried about not being noticed anymore!" one user exclaimed.

Katy's music comeback has come alongside her weight loss, and she's definitely been picking outfits that show the latter off. On August 24, she shared the above photos to her Instagram, going edgy in a teeny snakeskin miniskirt and bralette complete with matching gloves.

Donning glam shades and boots, Katy wrote: "They say I do it for the male gaze but the truth is I do it for the MALE GAYSSSS  Thank you @evitaparty for hosting a fabulous party last night 143. i love you." Meanwhile, the above photo showed off Katy Perry's slimmed-down bikini body as she filmed her "Lifetimes" music video on a Spain beach this summer.
