Sandra Bullock's Ex Jesse James Slammed With Lawsuit Over Alleged Attack By His Dog

Sandra Bullock's ex-partner, Jesse James' dogs, may have landed him in very hot water!

The 55-year-old and his business ventures are in court with a former worker who claimed his dogs attacked her.

Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James is at risk of coughing out a whopping $250,000 in damages if the court finds him and his vicious canines guilty of all the claims cited in the former employee's lawsuit.

The plaintiff, Karen Sanchez Roberts, filed the suit against the West Coast Choppers CEO's dogs, claiming they attacked her. His other company, Outlaw Garage, was also mentioned in the filing.

Roberts explained that James and his company employed her to assist with his personal needs, including tending to his dogs at his home in Austin, Texas. She stated that James did not plan to give her specific and expert instructions about handling the dogs when they got into a fight.

Roberts continued that a dispute soon broke out between two of James' dogs on April 11, 2023, and things got violent. She attempted to separate the raging animals "before they seriously injured one another."

In Touch shared that the former staff's peacekeeping efforts soon backfired as the dogs attacked and bit her without "provocation on her right hand."

Roberts began "bleeding profusely following the attack and was taken to a local clinic, where she was diagnosed with a fracture, received stitches, and had her wounds cleansed."

The former employee noted in her suit that her former boss knew his pets had a "propensity to be vicious and aggressive towards others before and at the time of the subject incident." She continued:

"Specifically, defendant knew his dogs had a propensity to violently attack each other to the point that someone needed to break up their fights."

Regarding how long James has allegedly known his dogs were quite confrontational, Roberts cited his knowledge that his "dogs frequently fought viciously enough to necessitate veterinary care, including stitches, staples, sutures, and other treatments" since 2016.

The lawsuit also noted that the dog previously bit one of James' children before Roberts became a worker at the house, and it did not happen without the CEO's knowledge.

She recalled James telling her that he would kick the dogs when they fought each other in an effort to get them to stop. Despite James' knowledge of his animals' excesses, he "failed to take any corrective action leading up to the incident" involving Roberts.

The founder has since denied Roberts's allegations and demanded she "prove their allegations by a preponderance of the evidence." The West Coast Chopper company also demanded dismissal from the case, stating that it did not own the dogs.

Roberts claimed she suffered "severe, debilitating, and permanent injuries that required surgical intervention" during that attack. She also accused James of failing to provide a reasonably safe workplace.

The former staff demanded a lump sum in damages for her medical bills, physical pain, physical impairment, mental anguish, and disfigurement.

In 2023, The Blast reported that one of James' dogs fights off a porcupine. The TV personality shared a video of the dog covered in the quills of the then-deceased porcupine.

He captioned the Instagram video, "Never a dull moment on Sundays.., Porcupine(s) 5 Cain 0," seemingly disclosing that the spooky animals gave his dog a beat down.

"As Tommy D always says, it's never nothing. Well, let's just hope you didn't swallow the quills like you did before," he added in the caption.

The tussle between Cain and the group of porcupines seemingly landed him in the vet's office as James shared a picture of Cain in the car on their way to the vet's appointment.

The 60-year-old actress, who had been married to James since 2005, filed for divorce five years later in 2010 following multiple cheating allegations from different women.

In March 2022, The Blast noted that the divorce process swallowed all the attention she was getting after following her first Academy Awards for her role in the 2009 cinema wonder "Blind Side." She also adopted a child around that time.

Bullock confessed that she felt the divorce might affect her son. She admitted: "I mean, so much had happened. How do you process grief and not hurt your child in the process? It's a newborn. She noted that infants tend to absorb their parent's feelings, adding:

"So, my obligation was to him and not tainting the first year of his life with my grief."
