Anna Delvey Flaunts Bejewelled Ankle Monitor On 'Dancing With The Stars'

As seen on her dance partner Ezra Sosa's Instagram, Anna hit the floor in a colorful crop top, shorts, and gold heels, but it was her bedazzled ankle monitor that stole the show.

Covered in purple stones, the monitor looked more like a piece of jewelry than a court-ordered device. In true Anna fashion, the convicted con artist did not seem bothered by the monitor, playfully showing it off while lounging in a white shuttle with Ezra.

In Ezra's Instagram, the duo could be seen riding in the white shuttle, with Anna playfully kicking her legs in the air, her bejeweled ankle monitor on full display. She even laid her ankle on Ezra's lap, proving she was not bothered in the slightest.

As the "Fake Heiress" made waves with her "Dancing With The Stars" debut, however, not everyone was impressed. In the Instagram post shared by her dance partner, he urged fans to vote for the duo, captioning it:

"@theannadelvey and I need your votes to keep our hustle going! 🗳 Voting is only open for 2 hours, so act fast!"

Ezra even included detailed instructions on how to cast votes. Despite the call for support, many viewers were not having it. Anna, who is still on house arrest, faced backlash for being given such a platform.

Critics did not hold back, with one fan commenting, "Rewarding bad behavior is weird to me." Another pointed out the controversial decision to feature Anna: "They even have her ankle monitor a f—king costume? Are you for real?"

Fans further expressed outrage at the show's choice to cast Anna, with comments like, "Rewarding someone on house arrest with DWTS has to be the most bottom of the barrel desperate thing the show has ever done," and, "Poor Ezra, you deserve so much better."

Others echoed similar sentiments, condemning the normalization of her actions: "Glorifying a felon has become the norm in this country. Pathetic."

Ankle Monitor No Problem For Anna And Her Partner

Despite the outrage from fans, "Dancing With The Stars" seems unbothered by Anna's ankle monitor. The show's official page proudly featured four action-packed slides of Delvey and her partner, Ezra, dancing up a storm with the bejeweled ankle monitor on full display.

The duo did not miss a beat, spinning and twirling across the dancefloor as confetti, matching their colorful outfits, rained down in the first slide.

In the second and third slides, the pair stayed fully in character, with Ezra's hand grazing close to the ankle monitor as they danced with flawless coordination.

The final slide captured the two in high spirits, seemingly waiting for feedback from the judges, showing that neither the ankle monitor nor the fan uproar slowed them down.

Anna's debut performance alongside Ezra left fans with mixed feelings. "DWTS" praised the duos moves in the caption, writing, "Anna and Ezra had it moving up, down, left, right during their sweet Cha Cha to @sabrinacarpenter! 💖 Perfect way to close Premiere night. #DWTS."

While some fans rallied behind Ezra, with comments like "Blew me away! Brought it," from Tori Spelling, and Jojo Siwa chiming in with, "So proud. You're incredible Ezra," others were not as impressed with Anna's presence on the show.

Critics took to the comment section to voice their frustration: "DWTS has lost their minds," one user declared, while another added, "Calling her an entrepreneur is crazy."

At the same time, a third commenter emphatically stated, "Ankle monitors are not iconic. She should not be on this show."

Many fans were quick to label Anna's performance as lackluster, with one even writing, "Hope she is the first one to go!" Another critic echoed the sentiment, stating, "She has zero personality, everyone else was fabulous."

The infamous con artist, known for her elaborate schemes posing as a wealthy German heiress, was announced as a competitor earlier this month.

The Blast reported that despite facing backlash for her controversial past, the promo image for the show featured Anna in a glamorous dress with the ankle bracelet on full display, a bold choice that she carried off with pride.

Having been convicted in 2019 for defrauding banks, hotels, and close friends, Anna has remained under home confinement since her release from ICE custody in 2022.

However, that did not stop her from joining the star-studded competition, which includes former NBA star Dwight Howard and actress Tori Spelling.

It is clear that Anna Delvey's appearance on "DWTS" is not going unnoticed — for better or worse.
