Ben Affleck Reportedly 'Couldn't Keep His Hands Off' Jennifer Lopez During Brunch Outing

Ben Affleck couldn't resist his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, as they recently enjoyed a casual date with their children.

Following reports of their brunch date, a source claims that Affleck "could not keep his hands off" Lopez and that the embattled couple are "still attracted to one another."

However, their outing doesn't mean they'll be mending their broken marriage after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their wedding.

Affleck and Lopez's relationship continues to make headlines following their split, and their latest public outing has only fueled the flames of discourse surrounding their failed marriage.

The pair were spotted enjoying a cozy brunch with their children on Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hotel – and their chemistry was undeniable.

According to Page Six, an insider said Affleck "couldn't keep his hands off" Lopez at their meetup, reinforcing rumors that their passion for each other remains stronger.

The insider added that it was the "Argo" actor's idea for them to meet there. He wanted to show that they were still "friends" and get their pictures taken, as paparazzi are known to hang around popular spots.

"Once they were together, he could not keep his hands off," the source said. "They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another."

"It was Ben Affleck's idea to meet there," the insider continued. "He wanted to show that they are friendly exes."

"He wanted those photos. You go there when you want to be seen. Paparazzi hang out there," the source added.

Talks of a potential reunion have surfaced since Lopez and Affleck's Saturday outing, but a source disclosed that it doesn't mean the estranged couple is reconciling.

The pair, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after nearly two decades apart, were allegedly seen engaged in an intense conversation at their intimate brunch.

"They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out," a source told People. "[Lopez is] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably."

The source continued, "A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn't want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along and had fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority."

Lopez's PDA-filled outing with Affleck comes nearly a month after she filed for divorce at the Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20.

The "Hustlers" actress made the filing without an attorney, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of their split.

In the filing, she rejected spousal support from the "Gone Girl" star and also asked the judge to turn down the same for him. She also requested that her last name be restored with the court document indicating they'll split attorney's fees.

In the absence of a prenup, the court document stated, "The exact nature and extent of separate property assets and obligations are unknown to Petitioner at this time. Petitioner reserves the right to amend this Petition when same is ascertained."

The timeline for finalizing their divorce remains uncertain, but things could move faster if the pair reach an agreement quickly on all matters.

Amid their divorce, Lopez and Affleck are said to be optimistic about what the future holds and are reportedly focusing on the positives as they move forward with their divorce.

A source told People that the Oscar winner was "doing well" at the time and "slowly moving into his new home," which he purchased for $20.5 million.

"He's where he wants to be: close to his kids and in a neighborhood that he loves," the source added. "He enjoys working too, and is very focused on the positives."

Another source close to the "Let's Get Loud" singer also said that "she still feels very fortunate" with her life even though she feels "some bitterness" about the split, adding that "she tried so hard to make things work and it didn't matter to Ben."

"She's surrounded by family, friends, and her kids," the insider noted. "She always manages to have a positive outlook. The divorce is difficult for her, but she always finds a way to move forward."

Following Lopez's divorce filing, Ojani Noa, her first husband, shared some advice on what he thinks his ex-wife should do.

"Stay single for a while, take 12 months off," the 50-year-old said of Lopez in an interview with the Daily Mail. "If she meets someone new, maybe keep it private and not get ­married again."

Despite praising Lopez's "amazing career" and strong work ethic, Noa hinted that for her next relationship to succeed, she may need to tone down her alleged love for media attention.

"When you're with someone, you have to spend quality time with them and not think about being on camera," Noa added. "I would just say to Jen: you need to be yourself so you can find yourself."
