The Weeknd has been one of the biggest music stars in the world over the past year, as usual. In this span, it includes a No. 1 album along with two No. 1. singles. He also put on a huge concert at halftime of Super Bowl LV in Tampa. One of the biggest records he's put out his "Save Your Tears," which appeared on his fourth studio album, "After Hours," in 2020. Now, a potential remix appears to be on the way.

Ariana Grande May Appear On 'Save Your Tears' Remix

On Monday afternoon, The Weeknd posted an instrumental  on Twitter from "Save Your Tears" and also tagged  Ariana Grande in the tweet. An increasing volume emoji was also included. This immediately led fans to believe that Grande would appear on the remix, which has yet to be revealed regarding an official release date. The original record peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is currently certified platinum in the United States.

Ariana Is Fresh Off Of Another No.1 Album

In October, Grande also released her sixth studio album, "Positions." This came after the success of the self-titled single. The single itself debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and the album as a whole debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album is certified platinum in the US and the Positions single is 2x platinum. The "34+35" single has also had massive success as it debuted at No. 2 on the Hot 100 and is 2x platinum in the US. The remix also featured Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion.

'Save Your Tears' Is One Of Many Hits For The Weeknd Over The Last Year

While "Save Your Tears" has been making a lot of noise and may feature Ariana Grande on the remix, The Weeknd has a lot of momentum from other singles as well. One is "Blinding Lights," which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 after its initial release in November 2019. It has since been certified 8x platinum in the US and is the biggest hit in Hot 100 history. It also became the longest-running top 10 hits on this chart.

The Weeknd Continues To Perform Honorable Humanitarian Work

The Weeknd has been giving back over the last year for sure. He donated $1 million in COVID-19 relief in Canada and to MusiCares. In February, teamed up with Postmates and local Black-owned restaurants in Tampa during Super Bowl week. This was to deliver food to local front-line hospital workers. Earlier this month, the Canadian superstar also donated$1 million to citizens in Ethiopia in partnership with World Food Program USA. This is amid the ongoing military conflict there.
