Former "Survivor" star, Sunday Burquest, died at the age of 50 after a battle with cancer. News broke, ironically, on Sunday of the tragic death of Burquest, who appeared on the Millenials vs. Gen X season of the iconic competitive reality show.

Tributes poured in from other contestants who appeared alongside Sunday on the 33rd season of the long-running CBS show, as well as others in the "Survivor' extended family. Amid the tributes, Sunday's daughter, Kennedy Burquest, shared a sweet memorial with photos of her late mother.

Sunday's daughter, Kennedy Burquest, shared the tribute to her late mother over the weekend along with a photo gallery of the two throughout her childhood.

"To my unbelievably beautiful mama,
Thank you. Thank you for fighting as hard as you did for as long as you did,"

Sunday, who revealed she was a pastor while appearing on "Survivor," announced last year that she had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer that spread to her lymph nodes and ovaries. She was unfortunately only given months to live.

Kennedy Burquest continued:

"Thank you for being a best friend, a role model, a sister, and my mother all in one. Thank you for raising me to love Jesus, and show that love to others. That’s something you did so well. It breaks my heart to know you will never get to see me on my wedding day, or be there when I have my first kid. But I know you’re watching over me."

Sunday was a fan-favorite on her season of "Survivor" and made it all the way to day 35 and the 7th member of the jury.

In the wake of Sunday Burquest's death, other contestants who appeared on "Survivor" with the late pastor are sending love and support to her daughter.

"You are your mom in so many ways, Kennedy," Adam Klein wrote, who ended up winning the 33rd season that Sunday competed on.

Klein added, "She always saw you that way. When I look at you I see her, too. I will get to see my friend Sunday as I watch you on your journey, as the grit girl you know that you are."
