Keri Hilson Shuts Down Feud Rumors With Beyoncé

Most times in many places around the world people always try to pit women against each other.

It seems like women are always jealous of or hate each other, which isn’t always the case. Especially in the movie and music industries, we see supposed celebrity feuds happening between talented and powerful women.

Take for example, the constant comparisons between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, Drake and Meek Mill. You might also be familiar with the supposed feud between Beyoncéand Keri Hilson.

A song by Hilson which was leaked in 2009 sparked rumors about an ongoing brawl, as the track was perceived to be a diss to Queen B.

The song “Turnin Me On” also released its remix, and the lyrics of the song, seemed to be directed to the “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” singer.

Such lyrics included; “Your vision cloudy if you think that you're da best, You can dance, she can sing, but [you] need to move it to the left. She needs to go have some babies, she needs to sit down, she fake, them other chicks ain't even worth talking bout.”

If there’s one thing a fanbase is good at, it’s blowing little things out of proportion sometimes. Off course every one is looking for drama and stuff to talk about especially when it comes to celebrities.

Fans took the song lyrics rather seriously with some even began picking sides. The supposed feud was never really addressed and over the years people just took it as reality.

So, over the years, as Hilson and Beyoncé refrained from addressing the rumors, it became less of an issue.

Recently, Hilson finally spoke out, in an attempt to clear the air about the rumored feud. Although many believe that, that single track cost the singer her music career, her fans disagree.

She told radio show host Persia Nicole that there really wasn’t any bad blood between them. She said this “She actually has introduced herself. It was a gracious moment,” she noted.

“I appreciated it. I felt like she really understood what happened, what had transpired and there was a little bit of healing at that moment when we met. I take her as a really intuitive kind of soul, as am I.”

Hilson was asked if there was any chance that she could collaborate with Beyoncé?

“It would be a really fun experience to do that if she were open. I do feel like she understood what it was all about. She is amazing. I have always felt that way. That is the truth of the matter, but no one will believe that,” she said.

Well a collaboration between the beautiful and talented singers would do well to appease their fans to drop the rumors of their feud.

Hopefully, fans get to see more feuds like this between stars get resolved.
