Ashley Park is spilling the tea on the "stressful" ordeal of filming a vulnerable scene in "Emily in Paris."

In the episode, Mindy grapples with her nerves about stripping down onstage—and even finds that her singing voice is impacted when she doesn't have a shirt on.

Without spoiling it, she conjures up a creative twist with a unique solution to stay comfortable during the performance. As she dances without a shirt on to Britney Spears' "Oops!... I Did It Again," Mindy has her best friend Emily (Lily Collins) throw different purses from off-stage to help cover her up.

"We have this recurrent memory of being onstage, not knowing what you're doing, in your underwear," Park told People Magazine when talking about filming the scene. "And that is what I was living out actually, but surrounded by the most beautiful dancers in the world around me."

She admitted that doing the scene made her feel extremely vulnerable, and she struggled to go through with it.

"It was so stressful and so hard to do," she told People of the scene. "If it had not been for the choreographer, Kyle Hanagami, coming in and my team around me, I don't think I would've gotten through it."

Park ended up going through with it and is "actually really proud of [the scene] now," adding that she "will never forget doing" it.

By June 2019, Lily Collins was en route to New York for a pivotal meeting with Patricia Field, the iconic costume designer famous for "Sex and the City." Collins was set to meet with Field, who was consulting on the first two seasons of "Emily in Paris," to prep for the Netflix series.

Field, known for her meticulous approach, wanted to ensure Collins wasn’t overwhelmed, so she later sent PDFs filled with images of clothing, shoes, bags, and more for Collins to review. Collins provided her feedback, thinking she was merely offering input rather than making specific demands.

When Collins arrived in Paris for her first fitting in August, she was pleasantly surprised to find that all her choices had been prepared and were waiting for her.

“I was blown away,” Collins told InTouch, reflecting on her surprise when all her selections were prepared. She added that taking on the iconic role of Emily helped reignite her passion for fashion.

“Emily, in a lovely way, takes up so much space,” she said. “Mixing patterns and prints, textures, styles in a way that was foreign to me, I started to realize that I didn’t have to be afraid of color anymore.”

For the fourth season, "Emily In Paris" is headed to Rome because the show's creator "wanted to expand the footprint of the show" and "broaden out the universe."

"But also, Rome to me is like the other great romantic city in Europe, and it's a bit of a yin and yang to Paris," Darren Star told People. "And also the story took us here. You know, Italy is — just like France — sort of known for fashion, design, style, in a different way."

Parts 1 and 2 of "Emily in Paris" season 4 are now streaming on Netflix.
