Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and Richard Madden took their roles to the next level by filming "Killer Heat" on location in Crete. Gordon-Levitt, who has long harbored a desire to travel for work, shared that shooting in such an exotic locale was a dream come true.

"I think if you're like me and you are enticed by some juicy characters, and gorgeous settings, Shea and Richard both are so good in the setting of the island of Crete, you really couldn't ask for a more beautiful place in the world," Gordon-Levitt continued. "If you want to just let a vibe wash over you, I think you'll enjoy this movie."
'Killer Heat' Is Inspired By A Short Story
Inspired by Jo Nesbø’s short story "The Jealousy Man," "Killer Heat" centers on American ex-pat detective Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) as he investigates the supposedly accidental death of prominent shipping mogul Leo Vardakis (Richard Madden) on the picturesque island of Crete.
