John Travolta and his daughter are paying tribute to his late son, Jett, who this week would have turned 29-years-old.
The 'Grease' star took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking message which included a photo of Jett and his father before his tragic death.
Travolta's son, with late wife Kelly Preston, died in January of 2009 while on vacation in the Bahamas after hitting his head on a bathtub following a massive seizure. The 16-year-old passed away after first responders were unable to save him.

"Happy birthday my beautiful Jetty. I love you," Travolta captioned a black-and-white photo of him and his son.
The legendary actor's daughter, Ella, commented on the picture posting three heart emojis. The 21-year-old shared her own tribute to her brother, saying "I love you Jetty. Happy Birthday❤️."
Jett Travolta suffered from autism, and the couple rarely spoke about his condition or complications due to his issues. But, before her death, Kelly Preston opened up about the disorder, blaming his situation on chemicals in the environment and our food.

"[Jett] was autistic. He had seizures and when he was very young, he had Kawasaki Syndrome," Preston said in a 2012 episode of The Doctors.
She continued, "I strongly believe as a mother, as does my husband, that there are certain contributing factors that lead to autism and some of it is very much the chemicals in our environment and in our food."
Tragically, this marks Jett's first birthday since his mother's shocking death in July after the 57-year-old battled breast cancer for two years.

The family announced Preston's shocking death on July 12, 2020, saying, "On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife, and mother, passed away rolling a two-year battle with breast cancer."
It continued, "Choosing to keep her fight private, she had been undergoing medical treatment for some time, supported by her closest family and friends. She was a bright, beautiful, and loving soul who cared deeply about others and who brought life to everything she touched. Her family asks for your understanding of their need for privacy at this time."
