Elon Musk posted a bizarre reaction to Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Elon Musk's Weird Response To Taylor Swift's Endorsement Of Kamala Harris
As the race toward the 2024 U.S. presidential election continues to heat up, Musk has been quite vocal about his support for Harris's opponent, former president Donald Trump.
Seeing Swift, who has quite a number of followers, endorse the Harris and Tim Walz ticket, Musk recently responded with a post that some social media users have found weird.
Taking to his X platform, the tech mogul wrote, "Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life."
Musk didn't elaborate on his comments, but his post seemed to poke fun at Swift's well-known affection for cats, especially since she was seen with one in her endorsement post for Harris. Additionally, Musk appeared to be playfully offering himself to the pop star.
Social Media Users Slam Elon Musk's 'Creepy' Response
Although Swift has yet to respond to Musk's post, several social media users were quick to reject the Tesla CEO's remarks, with many outright calling it "weird" and "creepy."
Someone else further called out the oddness of the tweet, writing, "This tweet just takes things to a whole new level of strange. It's not even eccentric at this point, just outright unsettling."
Another user labeled the response as Musk sexually harassing Swift: "Found a way to sexually harass people who aren't your employees."
Some users also labeled the post as "misogynistic," suggesting it perpetuated the "childless cat lady" stereotype that the Republican VP candidate, J.D. Vance, began.
A user wrote, "Musk's tweet should be seen as part of Trump/GOP's broader pattern of mocking women who do not conform to traditional gender roles. His post is misogynistic because it seeks to reduce Swift's serious political stances to the stereotype of a "childless cat lady."'
Taylor Swift's Endorsement Of Kamala Harris
Swift's endorsement of Harris follows the first face-off between Harris and Trump. The pop star took to Instagram, sharing a lengthy post explaining why she plans to vote for Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
She wrote, "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."
Swift added, "I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades.
The Singer Explained Why She Is Openly Endorsing Her Preferred Candidate
In her post, Swift explained why she is vocal about her choice for president, revealing that she recently became aware of a false claim that she had endorsed Trump.
She remarked, "Recently I was made aware that AI of 'me' falsely endorsing Donald Trump's presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth."
The singer also urged voters to research the candidates before making a decision and encouraged everyone to register to vote.
She then concluded her post with a cheeky reference to Vance's "Childless Cat Lady" remark.
Taylor Swift Endorsed Joe Biden In 2020 After Slamming Donald Trump
Swift has previously spoken out against Trump, condemning the ex-president's comments regarding protesters in 2020.
The singer tweeted at the time: "After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? 'When the looting starts the shooting starts'??? We will vote you out in November."
That same year, Swift posted a photo of herself holding a tray of freshly baked cookies with the words "Biden/Harris 2020" written on them with blue, white, and red frosting.
