The "Alaskan Bush People" family has been through a rough go over the past months, and things just took another turn for the worst after the eldest son made some damaging allegations against his late father and the show in general. In response, Bear Brown has taken to social media to defend his father's legacy as well as claim that his brother is making up false accusations.
It all went down over the weekend after Matt Brown went on Instagram with a series of videos that quickly went viral.
In an eerily recorded video of himself, Matt Brown spoke for over 9 minutes about the beginnings of "Alaskan Bush People," when he was still involved with production and living with his family.
Among his accusations, Matt claimed all the money made on their successful TV show was taken by his father, with the children allegedly being left out of their cut. He also claimed that his father and mother were given drugs by the production crew in an effort to get him hooked on illegal substances and eventually unload him to a rehab facility.
Matt did end up leaving the show a few years back due to substance issues and has openly spoken about his journey to become sober.

In the wake of Matt Brown's allegations, his younger brother, Bear Brown has taken to social media to defend his family, his late father and their TV show from the statements made in the videos.
"I would like to set the record straight about the things my older brother has posted, none of it is true!" Bear announced to fans in an emotional Instagram post.
He added, "It’s heartbreaking that he would say such horrible lies about Da just a few months after he passed away! I pray he can find the peace and serenity in his life that he needs. God bless everyone!"

The allegations by Matt Brown are shocking, especially considering the eldest son of the "Alaskan Bush People" family was hinting at a possible return to the Discovery reality series after he was ousted a few years back.
Last year, Matt actively engaged with fans on social media while letting everyone know that he was continuing his journey to stay sober. He even claimed to have patched things up with the family, including the late Billy Brown, and hinted that he would be appearing on the show once again.
With his latest incident, it sounds like the return to TV is now off the table.
