In Jonathan Owens' debut for the Chicago Bears, he delivered a jaw-dropping play that nearly gave his wife, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, a "heart attack."
The Bears were having a rough go on offense with rookie Caleb Williams under center, trailing 17-3 early in the third quarter. But things took a dramatic turn when Chicago’s defense stepped up big time, forcing a Titans punt on Tennessee’s first drive of the second half.
That gave the Bears the perfect setup to finally score their first touchdown of the day--all thanks to Jonathan Owens and Tyrique Stevenson.

Simone Biles Speaks Out Following Packers/Bears Controversy
The Olympian's reaction to her hubby's touchdown comes after she faced backlash for repping a Green Bay Packers jacket to the Chicago Bears stadium. For the record, Owens was with the Packers for the 2023 season before landing a two-year deal with the Bears.
After the backlash from Bears fans, the 11-time Olympic gold medalist has promised to swap out her green and gold for some Bears orange and navy.
"Yes, I have plenty [of Bears gear] now," she told TMZ with a laugh ahead of Sunday's game. "So, don't you worry, guys!"

Biles and Owens' love story began in 2019 through mutual connections, and they got engaged in February 2023. They’ve been each other's biggest cheerleaders ever since. Owens frequently attends Biles’ gymnastics events and the Olympics, while Biles has been a steadfast supporter of Owens’ football career.
“I try to be her motivating factor whenever I sense that she’s kind of maybe getting down on herself," Owens told Texas Monthly. "If practice was a little rough or your body may not be feeling great right now."
He added, "She’s doing the same with me. She’ll be telling me, ‘Don’t be a baby, you’re all right.’ We’re both super competitive. When I see her getting up and going to practice every morning, it motivates me even more. It’s a great feeling when the person you’re in a relationship with understands what you’re going through.”
Simone Biles Recalls What It Was Like Planning Her Wedding

The Olympic gold medalist and NFL star tied the knot on April 22, 2023, with a courthouse ceremony in Houston. They then celebrated with a stunning second wedding in Mexico, making their special day truly unforgettable.
“The planning process [for the larger celebration in Cabo] was so much fun in the beginning and then it started getting really stressful. So I definitely recommend a wedding planner," she told Vogue. "Carena Trampe of Amy Abbott Events kept me sane the entire time.”
When it came to picking out her wedding dress, the Olympian admitted she wanted something that was both elegant and uniquely her, but her height was something she needed to overcome. “I was nervous about having a ball gown because I’m so petite—but it works perfect," she said. "The leg slit was very crucial. It was to add, in my head, more length to my body."
"I think this is exactly how brides are supposed to feel: luxurious, beautiful, kind of on top of the world," Biles concluded.
The Bears take on the Houston Texans next, a matchup that will be shown during "Sunday Night Football" on September 15.
