Kate continued, "The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything."
"This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted," the Princess further stated. "Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus."

Still, in her X post, Kate revealed that she was looking forward to working again and engaging in public activities.
She said, "I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life."
Kate then proceeded to thank those who have supported her all through her cancer battle, noting that she, William, and I are "so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.
She concluded her post by writing, "Everyone's kindness, empathy, and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness can come light, so let that light shine bright."
Her Possible Return To Public Duties: Remembrance Sunday And Holiday Concert Plans
The Sunday Times had previously reported that Kate was considering making a public appearance, with hopes of joining her husband William, King Charles, and other members of the royal family at the annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony in November at the Cenotaph memorial in Whitehall, London.
The occasion, which honors fallen service members, is a prominent fixture on the royal calendar, and if she does attend, it would mark a notable public return for the Princess of Wales.
However, there are currently no confirmed dates for Kate's resumption of royal duties, and she is not scheduled to join Prince William for the Earthshot Prize awards in Cape Town in early November.
The publication also mentioned that preparations have begun for Kate's annual holiday carol concert in December, an event she has hosted for the last three years.
Kate Middleton Remained Engaged in Royal Duties During Cancer Treatment
Throughout her cancer treatment this summer, Kate has remained active in her royal duties from home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
According to People Magazine, she has regularly met with her private secretary, Tom White, assistant private secretary, Natalie Burrows, and the Waleses' communications secretary, Lee Thompson, to stay informed on her initiatives and plan for the future.
In June, Kate noted that while she has "good days," chemotherapy inevitably brings challenges. Despite this, as she expressed in a March video announcing her diagnosis, her work continues to provide her with "a deep sense of joy."
On Friday, September 6, Kate hinted at her enthusiasm to resume her duties when the time allows. Buckingham Palace also shared a message from the princess, congratulating adventurer and TV host Dwayne Fields on his appointment as Chief Scout of Scouts UK.
The Princess Of Wales Balances Treatment And Royal Duties
Kate began chemotherapy in February after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. She announced her cancer diagnosis in March and has kept a low profile since.
In June, she released a touching statement alongside a portrait of her in Windsor. She also made a rare appearance at the Trooping the Colour parade in honor of the King.
In July, feeling well, Kate attended Wimbledon with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa Middleton. In August, she and William also recorded a video to support athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
While no date has been set for her return to full public duties, those close to the palace emphasize the importance of Kate not feeling pressured.
A source told People, "It's good not to feel under pressure and just take her time and have slow days if she needs to."
