Jax Taylor is keeping it real about his headspace during his time in and before his intervention.

The reality star confessed that he was initially reluctant to go into the facility and faced the same fear when it was time for him to leave.

Jax Taylor checked into a treatment facility following mental health issues aggravated by marital issues and separation from his wife, Britanny Cartwright.

The reality admitted that he initially hated the idea of getting clean, and he was super scared to get over his addictions. However, things got better once he was in, and he did not want to face the real world after his time was up, as the rehab gave his life the structure it really needed.

Tayor revealed this in a clip from the Friday episode of the "When Reality Hits with Brittany and Jax" podcast. Taylor struggled to leave the treatment facility, and the realization brought tears to his eyes.

TMZ gathered that Taylor's schedule at the facility included getting up in the morning, eating breakfast, and reading — a luxury he never got to enjoy so much outside the four walls of the building.

He continued that the idea of moving on outside rehab also scared him because he knew people outside would be mad at him for his mistakes, adding that he was not ready to get back to filming his show "The Valley."

Despite the timing of her divorce filing, The Blast shared that Cartwright confessed that it was not a decision she made "lightly or quickly."

The "Vanderpump Rules" star who got emotional on the "When Reality Hits" podcast last month noted that it took her "many, many years to get to this point" where she gained "enough courage and strength" to do what's best for her.

She continued that the relationship was toxic, and it took her a while to see her worth, adding that the "very difficult" decision has made her very strong.

Viewers will see the divorce unfold in real-time in the second season of their ongoing Bravo reality show, "The Valley." Cartwright admitted to her fans:

"This season has been the most difficult season I have ever had to film. I never imagined I'd go through something so personal and painful while having the world watch. I'm not saying this for anyone to feel badly, but I know that this is the life I chose and I'm so fortunate in many ways. I always want to be real with y'all."

The estranged couple were also spotted at a sports event for the new season, with the camera crew around while they kept a healthy distance from each other.

The mom-of-one was reportedly at peace throughout the event, but Taylor was in a "funk" through most of the filming. The divorce was said to be a mutual decision as it was reportedly clear between the couple that they were not a good match for each other.
