Ciara broke her silence on the death of legendary rapper DMX, and recalled how inspired she was by his music.
The 'Goodies' singer took to Instagram to share a message about the 'Ruff Ryders Anthem' rapper, reminding fans of the extreme talent he possessed. Interestingly, Ciara's followers pointed out that DMX had a crush on the singer -- and was nervous while meeting the star.
The best part, Ciara shared the photo she took with DMX that night and included a message about his music touching the souls of his fans.

Adding, "Rest in Paradise Legend ??"
Immediately, Ciara's followers pointed out, "I remember his interview on Whoo Kid’s radio show and X said he had a big crush on you - meeting you made him nervous ?❤️."

DMX's celebrity friends have been sharing stories about the legendary rapper on social media -- including Gabrielle Union -- who claims the gangster rapper was actually a fan of the 'The Golden Girls.' Wait...What?!
That's right -- the actress shared the insane story while appearing on the popular food show "Hot Ones" back in 2017.

According to Union, while filming the 2003 film 'Cradle 2 The Grave' -- she claimed there was a dog biting incident with the staff of the production -- so she was sent to get DMX during the shoots.
But, instead of coming out, DMX would invite her in for a drink while he enjoyed his favorite 80's sitcom -- Golden Girls! At the time, Union said X would "laugh hysterically" at the show while enjoying a few beers. Best. Story. Ever.
As we reported, DMX passed away earlier this week, just days after suffering a massive heart attack and drug overdose.
