Zac Brown scored a small victory in his ongoing divorce from Kelly Yazdi, with a judge's recent ruling in his favor.
The country music singer and his estranged wife were going head to head over their split, with the latter trying to stop the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement. However, the court rejected her petition.
Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi secretly married in August 2023, but they did not have a wedding ceremony until November. According to his estranged wife, he filed for divorce shortly after they walked down the aisle.
Zac Brown's Prenup Will Be Enforced In His Divorce Battle
According to court documents, the judge presiding over Brown and Yazdi's case found their prenup valid and enforceable despite the latter's argument. The order read:
"The court finds that the [prenup] entered into by the parties, which the parties called a 'marriage contract,' did not result from fraud, duress, or mistake or through misrepresentation or non-disclosure of material fact."
"The court further finds that the marriage contract is not unconscionable, and there have been no changes in fact or circumstance such as would make enforcement of the marriage contract unfair or unreasonable," the order continued.
The judge's decision was a significant blow to Yazdi, who suspected Brown did not provide a complete disclosure of his financial records when they signed the prenup. The documents she wanted included the disclosure of his income, assets, and liabilities, per In Touch.

Yazdi, through her attorneys, argued that "certain information has come to light since the parties' marriage that causes [Kelly] to have reservations as to whether a full and complete financial disclosure was made by [Zac]."
"Clearly, [Kelly] knew [Zac] possessed significant wealth and celebrity status; however, such does not absolve [Zac] from the requirement to fully disclose all of his assets, liabilities, and income when entering into a prenuptial agreement," their argument continued, adding:
"In order to ensure that such a disclosure was, in fact, made, [Kelly] requests that the court not enforce the marriage contract at this juncture."
Yazdi implored the court for time to investigate "if, indeed, full financial disclosures were made that would satisfy the requirements of Georgia law." But her argument did not convince the judge.

When Brown filed for divorce in January, he claimed their marriage was "irretrievably broken" and "there is no hope for reconciliation." He implored the court to enforce their prenup, noting they signed the agreement on August 31, 2023, the date of their secret ceremony.
Brown stressed that the prenup covered the division of their properties, alimony, and attorney fees. However, Yazdi argued that she "should be awarded an equitable division of the marital property accumulated by the parties during the marriage."
Additionally, Yazdi wanted the court to award her pre-marital, separate, and non-marital property. Her demands continued with a request for Brown to cover her attorney fees. She broke her silence on their tumultuous split in August, claiming the divorce blindsided her.

The Blast reported that Yazdi addressed her separation from Brown on Tiktok, claiming she and the singer were "happily together for years" before he suddenly changed his mind about their relationship. In her words:
"We held our private wedding party in Nashville last November with our family and friends, and nine days after our wedding party, Zac unexpectedly told me over Zoom that he wanted a divorce."
Yazdi claimed Brown asked her to sign an NDA that would ban her from ever talking about their relationship for the rest of her life. "After I refused to sign that lifetime NDA, that's when Zac filed for divorce back in January," she recalled.
Zac Brown Accused Of Spreading A False Image Of His Estranged Wife
Yazdi painted a harrowing picture, noting that Brown not only let her go from the executive vice president position in his company but also degraded her in one of his music videos.
She claimed Brown used edited parts of their wedding party footage in the music video for his song "Beautiful Drug" featuring Avicii. Yazdi argued that the clip portrayed a false representation of herself with a lookalike model.
"I was so devastated to see my private wedding video edited to portray me in a false light and deeply disturbed by the fact that they were suggesting I was lying that this video was shot long before Zac and I met," Yazdi lamented.
Zac Brown has since moved to have his estranged wife's lawsuit about the music video dismissed. Will he score a second victory?
