Lady Gaga is spilling new details about her blossoming relationship with Michael Polansky.

The "Poker Face" hitmaker recently dove into her romance with the entrepreneur in a candid interview, sharing more about how they met and who played a significant role in their matchup.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been making waves since 2019, with their relationship status changing to engaged early this year.

Gaga did not hold back when raving about her relationship with Polansky while flashing the unmissable diamond on her left hand. "The missing piece in my life was having real love," she declared before opening up about their first meeting.

The singer-songwriter met her fiancé in a surprisingly old-fashioned way — through her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, in 2019. The matriarch proved that mothers truly know what's best for their kids, with Gaga recalling:

"My mom met him, and she said to me, 'I think I just met your husband,' and I said, 'I'm not ready to meet my husband!' I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?"

Gaga told Vogue she did not meet Polansky until December 2019 when the co-founder of Napster and founding president of Facebook, Sean Parker, threw a 40th birthday party at his house in Los Angeles.

When Parker invited Gaga to his birthday bash, the first thing she asked her mother was if Polansky would be there. She decided to attend after confirming his appearance, noting:

"I kept asking for him, and he finally came over to me, and we talked for three hours. We had the most amazing conversation."

As for Polansky, he shared that he barely walked through the front door before someone told him Gaga was looking for him. "I didn't know much about her and honestly wasn't sure what to expect," he confessed, adding:

"I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness—she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota."

Gaga had many reasons to be grateful to her mom for finding her future husband, especially after two failed engagements and fears about the future. She planned to say her vows to actor Taylor Kinney in 2015 and to talent agent Christian Carino in 2018.

While reflecting on these relationships, Gaga confessed: "I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever. And that was really scary."

"Because it's a big life. And I don't think anyone really knows what it feels like unless you're in it," she continued, adding, "And I don't have to do this alone anymore."

After nearly five years together, Polansky popped the big question in April following a day of rock climbing. He and Gaga are reportedly gearing up for their big day by working on a prenuptial agreement.

News of Gaga and Polansky's prenup broke in August, with The Blast reporting the singer was worth $900 million, which made the agreement necessary. Fortunately, her beau understood her perspective and accepted the process.

As an entrepreneur and the executive director of the Parker Foundation, Polansky was reportedly worth $600 million, making it equally necessary to protect his assets. A source close to the pair claimed the prenup process was free of tension, adding:

"There are a lot of assets on both sides, and a prenup will just make everything clear."

Before their prenuptial agreement made waves, Gaga caused a stir at the 2024 Paris Olympics by confirming her engagement to Polansky. On video, she introduced him as her "fiancé" to Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.

Although Gaga and Polansky met through her mother, they did not realize they were made for each other until 2020. They quarantined together at the singer's home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Spending quality time together amid the virus increased the duo's love for each other. They have since flaunted their relationship on numerous occasions, with Polansky supporting Gaga's performance at President Joe Biden's inauguration in 2021.

Additionally, Gaga and Polansky have collaborated to raise funds for various charity projects like the One World: Together at Home concert and developing an app for her Born This Way Foundation.
