Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon were seen lightly packing on the PDA before their double date with George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, in Venice.

Pitt has been engaged in a bitter divorce battle with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, but that hasn't hindered his love life as he and de Ramon affectionately made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival.

The former couple avoided an awkward run-in at the Venice Film Festival, as the premieres of their respective films, "Wolfs" and "Maria," had been scheduled for different days.

Over the weekend, the "Bullet Train" actor and his girlfriend jetted off to Venice, where they made their red carpet debut and went on a double date with George and Amal at the Cipriani Hotel's pool bar and restaurant.

According to Page Six, a source said the couple appeared "affectionate" behind cameras before meeting with the Clooneys.

"[Pitt] seemed very happy. They were very affectionate and cheerful. It was very sweet," a source told the news outlet.

George was reportedly at the hotel for a photo call, where he was "engaged in deep convo" with Tilda Swinton before Pitt and de Ramon entered the scene around 7:30 p.m.

"After saying warm hellos, Brad and George went over to the pool to take their photos, then came back over to mingle in the bar," the source shared. "All of them were in great spirits, and cheerful. There were lots of laughs."

Their time at the hotel was seemingly short, as the source added that they left around 8 p.m. with Pitt's "hands around de Ramon's waist," heading to dinner at Ristorante da Ivo via water taxi.

Pitt and de Ramon made their red carpet debut at the premiere of his new film "Wolfs" in Venice and even posed for photos with George and Amal Clooney.

According to Page Six, the "Troy" star wore a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble for the event, while the 34-year-old jewelry designer turned heads in the one-shoulder Pillar Dress in Stone from Entire Studio.

The duo looked loved-up as they walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet together for the first time.

On the other hand, George looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo, while Amal wore a yellow Atelier Versace gown that she paired with a Judith Leiber bag.

Pitt is said to be overjoyed in his relationship with de Ramon and has "found his spark" for life again.

The lovebirds also took a significant step in their 15-month-long romance, which began in November 2022, by cohabiting at Pitt's residence in California.

According to an insider who spoke to People magazine, the decision for de Ramon to move in was a natural progression, as "they were spending so much time together at Brad's that it just made sense for Ines to move in with him."

"She still has her own place, but they spend most of their time at his, and Ines has most of her belongings there," they added.

The source also emphasized Pitt's joy, stating that the 60-year-old "Bullet Train" actor is "very happy and loves spending time with her. Moving in together was a natural thing."

"With Ines, he found his spark again. It's truly amazing to see. Brad's a great guy. He deserves to be happy," the source noted.

The insider shared, "Having more kids in his life is not out of the question. Ines is young and Brad said he's 100% on board if she wants to have kids. He loves the idea of building a life with Ines, and nothing is off the table."

Pitt is said to have noticed many traits that he believes would make de Ramon "a wonderful mother," including being "patient," "easy-going," and having a "great sense of humor."

Pitt and Jolie luckily avoided an awkward run-in in Venice as their films "Wolfs" and "Maria" were scheduled to premiere on different days.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Venice artistic director Alberto Barbera said that the film festival organizers had to take extra precautions to prevent that from happening.

"Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday [Aug. 29], and she will leave right after with ['Maria' director] Pablo Larraín," Barbera said. "So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido."

According to Page Six, a source said neither of the couples asked for their films to be premiered on separate occasions.

"Neither asked for that, they were wise enough to realize," the source said.
